Gibson Elite 16pc Bone China Set - White: Dinnerware Set, Service for 4, Dishwasher & Microwave Safe

I love the design of these plates; simple and elegant. Thought the finish would be durable enough for everyday use. Unfortunately, if you do not immediately wash these plates or even pre-wash them, stains can form on the porcelain. We left ours in the dishwasher for a few days (even after a light rinse before loading) and came home to mold on the plates, figured we would just run the machine and have no issues. Mold stains remained and I had to bleach the plates in order to remove the stains. Picture below is of a plate removed from wash in the dishwasher loaded the night before. You cannot rub these smudges out, only bleach will remove. Durability needs improvement. The coating on these plates is too porous

Gift for my daughter. She liked the packaging and especially liked the shallow bowl. You should be honored with her pick I’ve been trying to get her to pick something out for over a year and she picked these!

The dishes are a notch above basic in terms of their design- that was a selling point for me as I like a little bit of interest but not too much- I didn't want flashy colors, gold rims, or all-over embossing- The single ring of hobnail is perfect for my taste. I LOVE the replacement of mugs (which I don't need) with the wide, shallow bowls- they're infinitely more useful and perfect for large salads, stews, and rice/pasta dishes. We use those the most. I have not had my china for very long, but so far no chips or cracks and they did fine in the dishwasher. They do get warm in the microwave, but not so hot that they would burn my skin. My only slight complaint is that the undersides of the dishes- on the raised part where they are unglazed- is rough; wood surfaces will need to be protected.

I shopped white China quite extensively and settled on these. Just enough pattern but still timeless. Light but not too light. Extra pieces can be found at Home Goods. The wide bowls are a little unusual but nice for spaghetti or a salad.

Bought 2 sets of these 6 months ago and love them! No cracks, no chips. I’ve never been a fan of plain white dishes but these, with the simple design, are great!

This product is FAKE and is a fake replica of the original Brand. Misrepresented as Brand on Target website. Cheap FAKE replica and not from manufacturer as Target misrepresents on website. Not China and not Brand!

This set looks so elegant and delicate when you see it, but even when we've accidentally dropped it in the sink, or slammed it against another dish- no breakage. I'm so impressed as we've had tons of ceramic break from when we're not super careful. I cannot believe had durable this set has been. Definitely a worth while investment.
