Q: DO THESE GET HOT IN THE MICROWAVE

A: Hi VIC. If using the dishes in the microwave for an extended time, they will get hot. These plates are good to use for reheating for up to 4 minutes. Anything more than 4 minutes will get extremely hot. It will also depend on what it is your heating up and an for how long.
