Cute. Large enough for thick, long hair. Awkward to open, but doable.

Great grip, good hold. Impossible for me to open one-handed until I figured out this trick: I open it with two hands and clip it on my towel bar, partly open. I get my hair in place and then can grab the clip with one hand!

It’s wonderful if you can actually get it open to put it in your hair. It takes two hands to open it so you have to get creative if you don’t have someone around to help.

it takes all my strength to open these clips but when I do it’s so worth it. Very comfortable and holds hair securely all day.

This takes a few tries before you get used to not having that extra little "handle" to grab. But!!! It is so comfortable in because it doesn't have the extra bulk, especially when you lean against something.

I love the design of this clip. I like that it doesn’t have the normal open/close claw part. It does make it a bit harder to open and close but it is not impossible. It holds my hair and is very sturdy.

I love these clips. It's such a unique shape and looks great in my hair. My only complaint is that it's a tad hard to open since there isn't a place to really grip it. But the lack of that space makes it look great in your hair!

These have a very strong hold on my thin hair. They are a little harder to open than some of the other clips. Different shape than most clips and I like that. Very nice.

I have long, wavy, medium thickness hair. I have a VERY hard time finding claw clips that actually fit my hair that will actually hold it for a long time, and this one does the trick. I can twist it up and easily clip it on and it will stay all day while I work. Over 9 hours and it doesn't budge at all. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the shape of the Gimme Claw Clips in the super cute oval shape. The oval shape is easy on my hands, I feel like I have to add less pressure to grip my hair. I like the color choices for the claw set.

I loved how strong the spring and grip is on this claw but therein also lies its drawback for me. With this design, the spring is so strong that without the tabs to pull open the clip, I am unable to easily snap it open with one hand. I have a weak grip so that may only be my issue and could work for others. It’s also a pretty large clip length-wise. It’s about the same length as many of my large hair clips but it doesn’t hold as much hair. Since I currently have short hair, I gathered as much as I could and clipped it back - it did well with my slippery hair but it would be great for medium length or longer. I loved the sleek profile though - it’s like a banana clip but stronger.

I honestly wasn't sure what to think about these when I first received them because there is no handle like I am used to with claws. A little strange at first but once you get used to it, wow, what a great hair clip! Stays in place so well and looks great too!

Love the different look of these clips but they still hold my hair just like a traditional clip! Has become my new go-to hair accessory!
