GIR Rolling Pin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the GIR adjustable rolling pin but I did not receive the red free spatula as promised. I’m very upset that GIR did not include the spatula as advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my first pin with guides. I have another with rigid plastic guides from a different manufacturer, works like a champ. But the GIR version has more options for depths, and I am a big fan of every other GIR product that I have, so I got it. I had a large project last week, used it for hours. I did notice that the silicone guides “give” a little compared to the rigid plastic ones that I am used to, but that’s isn’t necessarily a bad thing. If you are doing a bake that requires SCIENTIFIC PRECISION, well, be advised you might encounter the tiniest variation. I found it more comfortable to use as the hours ticked by. It is easy to clean. The largest guide is a bit harder to remove from the pin, so I positioned it very near the edge for storage. (I keep them on the pin so I don’t lose them. If you have the luxury of more storage space, you might find a way to store them off the pin.) This is another solid product from GIR. Well done, design team! I might request more color choices - I prefer yellow/orange/green/purple, and that goes for all tool options.
