GIR Round Stretch Cover

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how grippy these are and how you can stretch them to fit any size bowl.

These are great in theory. They're nice and stretchy, and stick to most surfaces (especially each other). But they don't seem to fit any standard container. They're either too big or (more often) too small, so they sag or snap off like a rubber band. I wanted to like these more than I do.

I have nothing but GIR utensils in my kitchen and I love them all. These lids, however, miss the mark for me. The ones that fit the bowls exactly work fine. But, the ones that aren't the exact size either sag or pop off - don't seal properly at all. I'm sad to say, I can not recommend them. Wish I could...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited about these, but literally the first time I tried to use the biggest size cover over a bowl, it ripped a hole. Being marketed as "heavy-duty " and "exceptionally durable" didn't feel quite accurate — and the return policy only applies to unopened and unused packaging, so I'll be hopeful that the others fare better.

I was so excited to receive both sets up these covers, (they arrived super quickly!) but I’m not loving them. I can’t seem to find the right sizes to fit my glass Pyrex bowls - they’re either to small and stretch them over, but end up getting a hole or they’re too loose and leak. I’m super disappointed as they’re not the cheapest. I wish I could exchange for something else.

The lids work well and stay on. Goodbye to plastic wrap in many applications.

I bought these in my continued attempts to cut down on plastic waste and so increase my collection of reusables. They take a little time to get used to in terms of sizes/fit, but I have found that if I do not expect them to be as "tight" as plastic wrap on some bowls, then actually they are pretty handy!

I cannot for the life of me get the lids to cling on. If they're even a little wet the little I can get to stick still just slide off.

Ordered these as a stocking stuffer for my wife for Christmas. We're doing more and more to be more eco-friendly and use less single-use products. These covers are fantastic! They fit everything we need them to and create an amazing airtight seal. Would definitely buy again.

I have covered both glass and plastic items in different shapes and these softy-squishy lids worked. I’m glad I got them for myself, and to give as gifts. Bottom line, they do work and clean up easily, too.

I put these to use immediately. We prefer keeping leftovers in glass, and these covers extend the bowls we can use for storage. Tight fitting; perfect for keeping food fresh. Highly recommended!

My wife loves them for her baked and proofing dough.

I love these covers. There are several sizes to fit many bowls. They are easy to use and fit tightly . I have washed and dries them, haven't put them in the dishwasher yet. I am very pleased with these covers so far.

These covers are great! Better than I had imagined- so glad I picked them up before the holidays (as there’s always leftovers!).

I like these for the most part but the mixed sizes make it less functional. The smallest two are so small so I would gladly switch them for the larger sizes!

Bought 2 sets, one was a gift. They are the answer to ditching the plastic wrap! I’ve used all sizes.

These covers are incredible. They fit all of my bowls and are far better than plastic wrap for a slew of reasons, most importantly the environment. They're easy to clean and there is no odor from whatever they are covering. Exceptional product!

It takes a bit of finessing to use these initially, but they are really awesome and do seem to be air tight on bowls, I even have a square dish I use and it works with that as well! so glad not to have to use saran for these items anymore. Now GIR has to come up with something similar for the fruit or avocado’s that we don’t finish right away!

Perform well and create a nice seal without plastic wrap
