GIRL + HAIR CLEAR+ Apple Cider Vinegar Clarifying Hair Rinse is an apple cider vinegar and rice water based hair rinse created to gently but thoroughly remove product buildup and repair damaged follicles without stripping hair of moisture. It is specially designed for curly, kinky or coily hair types. Our rinse balances hair and scalp pH, which is essential in sealing and strengthening the hair. Apple cider vinegar is also a natural hair detangler, which is especially useful after removing hair extensions. Rice water includes special proteins proven to assist in repairing damaged hair follicles. It also improves elasticity, making it easier to comb and style your hair. Q: What are the directions and how often should it be used?

A: Hi, first you rinse your hair, then you apply the product directly to your wet scalp and hair. Massage gently with your finger tips to stimulate your scalp. Let it sit for about 10 min. (You'll start feeling a nice refreshing tingle.) Then rinse out thoroughly. The G+H CLEAR+ ACV clarifying hair rinse is used before, during and after your protective style or if you don't wear protective styles at all. Your G+H Team

A: Generally, apple cider vinegar at the right pH level is safe for most hair types. However, proceed with caution for very dry or damaged hair, as ACV can be slightly drying. Always do a patch test.

You would use the cleanse+shampoo item more frequently than the rinse.

I absolutely love this product for clarifying. I work out six days a week so at times so I just need a quick rinse on my hairline or between my braids and it just cleans my hair so well and gets my hair so thick I love it. The only downside I wish it was available in the store.

This rinse really helps during my in between wash days. I do exercise alot and this helps with the dryness and itch at times. It gives a tingling freshness that really wakes up my scalp. I am confident that my hair gets the refresh it needs.

This is a staple in my wash day routine! This gets my scalp so tingly clean, without stripping any moisture and prepares it for a thorough wash and deep conditioning! I have issues w scalp inflammation and dandruff, and this rinse helps me maintain a healthy scalp microbiome!! 10 stars!

I have straight hair so I'm not the target demographic for this product, but I still love it. It is gentle on the scalp, effectively removes oil and product from my roots without feeling stripping or drying. I use this multiple times a week, in between shampoos. Personally I am not a fan of the strong peppermint smell, and the packaging could be better (the cap can get lost easily and the nozzle is SUPER thin, making it hard to get product out); otherwise I would give this 5 stars.

Rarely leave bad reviews but do not like this at all. I bought it to make my hair feel cleaner/clarified and because of hard water. My hair honestly feels worse than ever after one wash with this (and use of their leave in conditioner). It is oily and dirty feeling. Also don't like the application...it barely comes out of the tip. Returning promptly after one use but this did not work for me.

This stuff is MAGIC. I was so skeptical to buy anything online but I could not be happier and I swear this is a real review! I never had dandruff or buildup before I started wearing extensions and since I started wearing them I consistently would have buildup and flakes and it was AWFUL and just getting worse and worse even though I wash once or twice a week (definitely don’t want to do more with extensions). I always wanted to make sure I was putting things in my hair that wouldn’t damage them and I find this. Now girls I used this ONE time and after showering and using this, the horrific buildup and white flakes and grossness is GONE. I repeat, GONE. It definitely smells like apple cider vinegar and it’s not the greatest scent and I went to town scrubbing my head with it, then used my normal shampoo and conditioner after and there was no leftover smell at the end of my shower. I made sure to rinse VERY thoroughly after it and after my shampoo and conditioner. It made my head feel clean and clear and even scratching my head, there is no residue or flaking or anything. Please please do yourself a favor and get this if you’re having scalp trouble with extensions. I wish I had known about this so long ago, it is a game changer. I am a total believer and will DEFINITELY be purchasing again. I think it is a must-have to keep your scalp healthy and clean with extensions in your hair.

AMAZING! I have had issues with my scalp growing up, I have very thick, oily hair with no relief. I’ve used detox oils that never worked, expensive treatments that my COVID budget couldn’t keep up with, and even tried groceries as I’ve seen on social media. Nothing worked or even worked out. THIS STUFF THOUGH! It feels amazing putting it on my scalp, it feels amazing massaging my scalp, and it feels amazing after it’s rinsed from my scalp! I highly recommend!

If I could rate this 10 stars, I would. This product has helped to restore my scalp health. I have been dealing with terrible sebaceous dermatitis and was looking for an ACV rinse to cleanse my scalp (without stripping it) but also provide some relief. Additionally, I like the smell of the rinse--it's pleasant without the very obvious and lingering ACV smell.
I recognize that my use and review is different than what was intended but it's a great product that I will continue to support.

I have naturally curly hair and wet my hair everyday, during the winter months this takes a toll on my scalp. G&H was a total miracle for my scalp! It is so refreshing and soothing for a dry, itchy scalp. I use it a couple of times a month to keep my scalp healthy and itch free. The smell is actually nice, you can smell the vinegar, but it fades after a few hours. Thank you Target for selling such a great product for your clients of color!

I fell in love with G+H before they started selling it in Target. I love the fact that Target is starting to carry some of my favorite online brands like G+H and Native. I've uses other ACV rinses, and this one is the best, absolutely no vinegar smell. The tea tree oil has a cool, mild tingling effect. Cleanses my scalp. I use it once a week in place of shampoo and shampoo once a month. Hairdresser always asks what I'm using because my hair is so healthy.
