    I was happy to find these gym shorts for my tween daughter. She has a small waist and curvy, so I wanted shorts that weren’t too short or tight around her hips and backside. These are great! The length is perfect - about mid-thigh. Also, they have pockets. I wanted to order all of the colors, but they were sold out of most of the colors. I did purchase XXL to make sure they were roomy, and the fit is nice. My daughter said they’re comfortable. She wears them often. If I had to add one critique, it is that the logo is on the back of the leg, so they look like they’re on backwards. Please keep offering them with the same quality and price (unless a lower price!).

    I bought this shorts for my starting 5th grader. The shorts she currently has, that she loves, won’t be able to be worn for school because of the length. The length is perfect and she liked them (size XL). She’s a little curvier and these are a good fit. I purchased the pink and purple color and they’re cute.     **Please re-stock the neutral colors, black & navy** It's so hard to find girls' shorts that are mid-thigh length that aren't thick heavy denim. These are perfect for school because my daughter can sit in them and not show her underwear when sitting on the floor unlike most sports shorts now out there for little girls with the 1 or 2 inch inseam. Not knee length which are uncomfortable and bulky. These are a nice lightweight material and soft and comfortable. Wish I had bought some in the next size up when I had the chance, for next year, because I'm sure Target won't carry them again since we actually found something functional for once. They do run a little big and don't have a drawstring.

    For some reason I've found it difficult to find girls shorts for sports and play that aren't super short. My daughter is 6 and quite tall for her age so the short shorts are extra short and not really functional for sports. These are the perfect length. I'd say they run big, we are used to Gap sizing where my daughter is a M...but we got the S in these shorts and they are a little loose/fit perfectly. The drawstring will be perfect to secure them for games.
