Kids’ measuring guide

Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

Height

Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.
Chest

Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.
Waist

With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.
Hip

Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.
Inseam

Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

It's a cute skirt, but I didn't read all the reviews.... saw one that claimed they have the built-in shorts, but they absolutely Do Not. Only thing I like admit these, it's they're slightly longer than all other skirts or skorts being sold right now.

The skirt is a pretty blue color and it is tiered and cinched on the side and is stylish. The material is durable and soft. The waistband is stretchy and comfortable. The price is affordable. It’s a cute summer shirt that goes with many types of shirts. Overall, this was a good find and purchase for my daughter. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter wears a size 7 toddler skirt. This size 6 and seven size skirt was a little big on her so I would recommend going one size down. I loved that this Had shorts underneath the skirt. The periwinkle color of the skirt was very pretty. The material was very stretchy and soft. My daughter said that this set was great for gym classes. I think it’s a very reasonable price. I received an incentive to write this review.

Stretchy Skirt Will Snag Easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Art Class skirt in a size XL 14 for my daughter. She is normally a size 10-12 Plus or 14 regular. It fit as we expected and I'd say it is true to size. We chose the blue color and it is a very pretty light blue. Other than the color though I was not a fan of this skirt. I don't care for the material. It seems like it will snag easily. And although it is stretchy and my daughter said it is comfortable to wear it will be horrible for school/play since it doesn't have shorts built in underneath. I think adding shorts under it will show and be bulky looking because the material is thin. This skirt just wasn't for us. I received an incentive to write this review.

She said she loved the color of it and she also loved how comfortable it was to wear and how soft the material was. The only downside was that it didn’t have shorts underneath but she just wore some of hers that she had and it was fine. I ordered her a size large because that’s what she usually wears and she said it fit great! I received an incentive to write this review.

The tiered look is cute. It does not have built in shorts which I don’t like. It’s a must to have to wear your own shorts underneath it. The color is a light periwinkle blue, which is really pretty and goes with almost anything. Overall, it’s a good daily casual skirt. I received an incentive to write this review.
