Q: Where is the battery located?
submitted by Joanne - 2 years ago
A: Battery located under the foot pad deck. If you upside down the scooter, should be able see the black box which holds the battery and controller system.

It arrived early but was manhandled by the carrier who literally threw the package onto my brick patio. Before that it seems it was stacked improperly in transit because the box has damage to it and the wheels were squished and damaged during shipping (first photo). I'm very disappointed with the quality of the welding, not just on the frame of the scooter (second and third photos) but also on the basket. It's worth mentioning there is no rear light and the red thing on the basket is merely a reflector. Speaking of reflectors, there is one dangling from the handlebars because it isn't the correct size. I'm very happy with how light this is. I brought it inside to charge after assembling and sat on it, went to ring the bell to see what it sounded like and the lever crumbled from the mere touch of one finger (fourth photo). Now there is no working bell on my scooter :( Then realizing I wasn't at the correct height for the handlebars I went to adjust the height of the handlebars and found that they can't be lowered or raised! To make the scooter as comfortable as possible I had to lower the seat to the lowest position, I'm 5'2". Down the road I forsee issues with this from minimal riding because of the unintended gaps from poor welding and the intended gaps at the rear where the wires enter directly behind the rear wheel. I didn't think a scooter could be this bad, is this one literally a lemon? Should I have bought the one that's around $50 more? Who knows now.
