Q: Can this scale be stored on it's side? I have a very small bathroom, so there isn't room to store it flat.

submitted by Smith - 3 years ago
  • A: It is not preferred to be stored upright. If it is, it would be best before each weigh-in to recalibrate it for accuracy. Place your scale on a hard, flat surface. Before taking your first weight, calibrate your scale by stepping on your scale until it turns on, then step off. The scale will automatically turn off. Your scale is ready for use.

Q: Does this scale have to be calibrated before use? Or do I just put the batteries in and can begin to use it ?

submitted by Smith - 3 years ago
  • A: Although calibrated during production, the scale needs to be 'reset' to calibration when it is initially used or moved. Place your scale on a hard, flat surface. Try to keep your scale in the same location and position and much as possible. Before taking your first weight, calibrate your scale by stepping on your scale until it turns on, then step off. The scale will automatically turn off. Your scale is ready for use.
