A: I just bought these glasses, and Katrina's answer is incorrect: there *is* an indent across the middle inside the glass, with the inside of the glass thicker on the bottom half. I'm not sure if the glass is actually pictured with water in it, but the picture does accurately represent what the glasses look like empty.
