Q: Hi, I recently ordered this and received it - it did not come with mounting hardware. Is this supposed to come with mounting hardware? And if not, how is this mounted?

A: Thank you for your question. This mirror does not come with hardware but can be hung with any standard mounting hardware.
submitted byOlivia & May Expert - 4 years agoBrand expertA: Hi - I purchased the same mirror and the design for mounting is very poor. It is not compatible with standard mounting hardware as prior answer suggests. Mounting has to be done at far corners of the mirror - you can see the square welds on the mirror back in the photos that in theory would work with a wall hook. Due to the metal welds and positioning of what I will call the "mounting squares" at the 3 corners, standard wall hooks will not work nor will wire from side to side. Please prove me wrong on this - I am confident no one from Target or Olivia & May has actually looked at this or tried to mount this mirror.
submitted byWJ8 - 4 years agoA: The position of the rings on the back of the mirror is awful! It made it very difficult to hang, although I did finally discover a solution that worked really well. I purchased Gorilla hooks that you insert into the wall, and was able to hang the rings on the back of the mirror on the hooks. This worked really well, but it wouldn't have been necessary if the rings were positioned lower (they are located at the very top of the mirror). The mirror itself is beautiful!

Q: Are the individual mirror panes beveled or is this one big sheet of mirrored glass? In the video and some of the images, the panes are beveled.

A: This wall mirror features a rectangular profile with 16 smaller windowpane panels bordered by the metal frame, and yes, the individual mirror panes are beveled.

Q: Does anyone have a links or products name of the mounting hardware required? I only see vague answers of “standard mounting hardware” This mirror is incredibly difficult to mount without any hardware provided and square backs. Wires or hooks do not work.

I do not typically order large items like this online without seeing it in person, but all the photos of this mirror look beautiful online. It arrived today and I was very disappointed with the quality and condition. There are several deep scratches on the frame and the bronze colored paint was chipped in many places. When I removed the mirror from the styrofoam packaging, the paint continued to chip off in my hands when I picked it up. This is not just one spot or a small problem area which received a poor paint job, The entire frame has small chips everywhere which exposes a white color underneath. The paint is chipped and flaking off in all areas of the frame even in the middle parts of the frame where the metal meets the glass. It is very apparent that this chipping and flaking off will continue. If it was just one small scratch and a couple chipped areas, I would have used touch up paint to fix it, This is such a major design flaw. I don’t know what kind of paint they used, but it is a major design flaw. The frame also has areas where it is not welded properly, so some areas are smooth and other areas you can see the line or seam where the frame was glued together. As other reviewers have mentioned, the placement of the hanging brackets are poorly placed and there is no way to hang this on a practical way. The mirror is heavy and seems sturdy, so it is such a shame that it is so cheaply made. There are also pry marks on several of the back panels which leases me to believe that I got a mirror someone had returned. The worst part is that I now have to haul this heavy mirror back to return it which is very inconvenient and frustrating. You also need two people to haul it due to its size and weight. I am disappointed in the quality of items Target sells online and will not be purchasing from them online again.

I love the mirror. It's a perfect size and perfect price! My only complaint is the hanging hooks in the back are too high - the wire I used to hang is visible. If the sodered hooks were lower, the wire wouldn't be visible.

I looked everywhere for a mirror like this! I use it in my entryway so I needed it to be big. Similar mirrors on other sites were not as big and cost more! Target had the best price and I’m very happy with it!
