A few of the parts visibly can be seen that the black coating is missing or not fully applied. The box stated that it was weather resistant but the parts (screws) and part of the frame became rusted after the first 2-3 rainfalls. In all, this outdoor light post became old looking and damaged within the first month or two.

The outside of my home is on the darker side because of the location so I couldn’t wait to try this out. I immediately loved it from the moment I took it out of the box . I think it can be used for a variety of home styles since the design is so modern and sleek. The only thing I recommend is that since it’s going to be outdoors and will be getting lots of sunlight is to apply sealant before hand to make sure this stays looking good.

I rent a house so this seemed like a really cute idea but when I changed it, it wasn’t quite what I imagined. I have a lot of pine needles around and my door is green so it didn’t quite match even though it is black. I will see if my sister likes it because it fits more her style than mine
