I am usually the only one in my family that drinks red, but, sharing with three, my bottle went too fast! Love this wine and the label.

I’ve always been a Gnarley and Dead fan! Simply the best go to wine around. Used to be harder to find, but now it’s more easily accessible! Received the collector Grateful Dead bottle as a gift for Christmas and enjoying every last sip of my first glass as we speak!

I totally bought this for a friend that loves the dead and just decided to buy an extra bottle for me since it was priced right. This cab is REALLY good, and the bottle is gorgeous!

I am and always have been a huge dead fan. So when I seen this (I confess) I bought it simply because the grateful dead aspect of the bottle. Not really intended on drinking at first but a buddy told me to pop it open so I did....and lemme tell ya. It's probably one of the best cabs I've ever had.

I love value and have always felt great wine should not have to be pricey. Gnarly head is a fine example of my principle. Love the Cab and just got two bottles or the limited grateful dead. Only thing is its a collector's item and i want to save it. Sure, i will uncorked it when a special guest visits.

My wife and I really enjoy the Cab. Very affordable for a nice, complex and hearty red. Great with dinner, but we somehow end up needing a second bottle for TV! Keep up the good work! - Keith in NJ

I have enjoyed a glass of the Cab Sav every evening for about two years, recently the wine has had a slightly increase in bitterness. It has started with the 2019 vintages, but again just in the last couple of months. Has there been a lot change etc.?
1 reply from Gnarly Head team - 4 years ago
Great question! That bitterness you are tasting comes from the natural tannins in the wine and from barrel aging. Tannins help with the aging of wines. To learn more, visit: https://winefolly.com/deep-dive/what-are-wine-tannins/

I bought this purely because of the name. Had a feeling it would blow my mind. Paired it with fire roasted tomato beef soup and I about died. Thank you for making this and making it affordable! Can’t wait to try your other wines.
