Should've read other reviews before purchasing - this is not the same book as the original version. Meny of the learning elements of the original version are removed to be a much simpler book.
Terrible Abridged Version

This is an abridged version of the classic children’s book and it’s been ridiculously simplified. I bought it for my son but it was so disappointing that I returned it. Not sure why anyone thought it was a good idea to write this book. They might as well have written a new simplistic board book rather than abridging a classic children’s book. Yes, it is *that* different from the original.

Not even close to the original version. So much is left out. My daughter loves (the original) this book so much. I really feel like it was helping her learn colors and objects. The shortened version leaves out a lot of the teaching aspect.

Disappointing edited version. I used to read this to my kids. I got it to read to my grandchildren and some of the best parts were cut out. They should label it as an edited version.

This is a charming book about transportation ... and humanized dogs. It's fun. And for the record, we like the board book version 100X more than the full original which includes a strange conversation about hats and not as snappy rhymes. This is the one to buy!
Nice little book for on the go!

Thick hardback making the book extra sturdy and small enough for children’s hands to hold.

Perfect size for our little reader. The board books are great for independent “reading” while also not being worried about ripping the pages. Fun story for our little boys who love dogs and repetition helps with early reading.

I love this book, but the one we received was all scratched on the front. The outside packaging was fine, so it was scratched up before they even shipped it.

Love Dr. Seuss Books. I love these the most because I keep these in the diaper bag for short trips like doctor appointments. They do not take up much room, I have multiple of them.

I love the small size of this book. It's perfect for toddler and the thick cardboard pages make it more durable than paper pages. The pictures and colorful and the story goes through all of the opposites for children to lean (up/down, inside/outside, etc)
