Players then keep a steady beat on the table that slowly gets faster and faster. You'll have to think fast because if you mess up the pattern, everyone will shout ''You Had One Job,'' and you'll have to draw a Performance Review Card. These cards can seriously change up gameplay, so don't get too comfortable! You might be next, and you don't want to be the one to mess it up! Last man standing wins! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We played this game twice with friends and I felt like there wasn’t enough material to play this game multiple times. It was fun to begin with but I found myself a little bored with the choices about 3/4 of the way through playing at a second time. acting out the jobs was fun but it became easy to guess the answers. Hi pass that on to another friend for her to play at a game night she was going to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game has a specific audience and I was not it. This is essentially a complicated version of the camp game “signs” it’s played well in large rambunctious groups. It takes a lot of focus and is a little frustrating at first

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very fun game especially during a family party and you want to get things wild, bring this game. You have a job and the goal is to complete is first and be the last standing. It was a little confusing at first but more and more you play the easier it gets and the funnier it gets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to add a new game into game night. My family does one every Friday night and once a month on Saturday we have an adult game night. Both the children and adults had a blast playing this game. You pick a job and have to carry out the character of that job or deal with the consequences. Overall it was a really fun game to play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We played You Had One Job and had so many laughs! The game is easy to learn and causes a lot of hearty laughter. One quick read of the directions, a few trials, and we were off to a fun night. There were four players, which seemed like a good amount. We want to try 6-8 players for more hilarious times.
Slightly confusing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about this game. My 10/13 year old kids loved it and had a great time but I found it a bit repetitive. It didn’t really develop as a game for me. The game comes with badge clips, job titles and rule cards. The game requires a lot of concentration to keep up with it as well.
So much fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You had one job makes family game night so much fun for my family. We are always looking for fun games to play that works for the whole family. You had one job is fun and we just have a great time laughing. You must pick a job, and make a sound to go with your job, someone can take your job. It’s just hilarious, and not boring at all. It’s a game you actually love playing and want to keep playing. My family looks forward to game night now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I had a blast playing this game. We played 4 times in one day to make sure we got it right. The instructions kind of threw us for a loop at first, but we think we understand it better now. The jobs were good and weird, which I think made it better. We will definitely play this first for our family game nights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately for family game night no one enjoed playing "You Had One Job". Way to much work to make this fun. Kids did not get into the gestures, the table tapping and the progression of the game. Ended up choosing a different game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is pretty fun! My 8 year old had the best time keeping the beat with drumming a n the table in the beginning of the Game. The “jobs” are cute and easy to act out. The pieces are sturdy and well made. This will last a long time. My family had fun playing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun game for a larger group of players, you really need a minimum of 4 players (ages 12+), but it’s definitely more fun, if you have 8-10 players. With our experiences with this game, it is not a quiet game! It’s fairly a fast paced game. At the start of the game everyone will draw a “job” card. For example, your job might be, “light weights”, “burp the baby” or even “brush your teeth”. You will have to preform your job, and your coworkers jobs, so it’s important to play close attention to your fellow player’s job title and job responsibilities. When each person draws their job title, they will choose a a hand gesture (of their choice), that mimics their job title, and they will also make a sound (that they choose for their particular job title), sounds crazy? It is, but crazy and fun!! The goal of this game is for the players (coworkers) to catch their fellow coworkers not preforming their job correctly or accurately. You get 3 chances, each time you screw your job up, will draw a performance review card, each review will count as a strike, and once you get 3 strikes you are fired! Your goal, is to preform your job well and to catch your coworkers slacking on their job! Keep in mind, that as your coworkers get fired, work will get more complicated as you take on your job and your “coworkers” jobs. When your coworkers (other players) screw up on their job, it will make everyone else’s job harder. This game is fun, loud (at least with our experiences) and crazy funny! I do recommend you try to play with a group of 8-10, but it’s still fun with 4-6 players. We have played this with extended family, groups of friends, and on our girl’s night gatherings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Goliath-You Had One Job is a fun interactive game. This would be a great ice breaker for a teen event. You definitely don't want to be shy if you are playing, it may be stressful. It is fast paced and silly. You mimic an action/sound and have to keep track of everyone else's jobs too. As less people are left it gets crazier and zanier. We were laughing like crazy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a sucker for a good game night. We have tons and tons of games already and I'm always excited to try out a new one. Our family has a pretty wide variety of age ranges and this one was a perfect fit. We laughed and had a blast playing the game and trying to keep up with everything and everyone. I would recommend this for family and friends who enjoy a good time. The rules and instructions were easy to catch onto and follow. I like that you're able to create your own motions and sounds and its cool to see the different ones everyone comes up with.
