Q: Does it clean the sticky hot iron? I am having a hard time ironing my clothes...
A: I wouldn't try to clean a hot iron. Allow it to cool, then see if the Goo Gone will remove the spot. If the spot isn't sticky when cool, try applying ice to the spot and carefully scrape it off.
submitted byTuplanner - 8 years agoA: We would not recommend using this on an iron. I would contact the manufacturer of the iron for cleaning instructions.
submitted byWeiman Brands - 6 years agoBrand expertA: Try Dawn power wash on cool iron, it will remove most residues that have gotten burnt on....follow instructions and leave on for a while if doing second application.
