Q: I just got a pack of the Good Foods avocado mash cups. The use by date says on it 01/07/2025. Does this mean July 1st or January 7th? If it is January, i’m surprised they would even have that on the shelves due to safety..

Q: Is the avocado content equivalent to one avocado?

A: Our 2oz avocado mash contains the equivalent of about 1/3 of an avocado, and contains all the nutrients you would find in a fresh avocado. Also, I wanted to note that since the avocado mash contains salt, there is more sodium than in a plain avocado (so not 100% nutritionally equivalent). I hope this helps!

Found this product in Florida. Have diverticular disease and l love the taste of this product. So handy and healthy for me putting on toast with honey or baking with an egg and cheese. Like others this has that bizarre texture that is less like avocado and more like something whipped, but this one doesn’t even add token chunks of avocado. The ingredients list with just salt pepper and citrus seems promising but in execution it’s just overwhelmingly sour. Other brands have an odd fermented flavor like the avocado has gone off (some say it’s because they have vinegar in the recipe), and this doesn’t have that but it’s way more sour than guac ever is. So apparently guac cups are another thing that’s begun to suck the past few years as manufacturers insert air into everything. I seriously doubt these have the advertised amount of avocado, it’s basically a mousse.

Loved this! Spread on toast for lunch. Much easier than hit-or-miss with fresh avocados (for some purposes) and convenient to use. I liked the lemony flavor and thought the price was pretty reasonable at $4.99 for 4 little cups.

A coworker gave me one of this little ones to try. It was so good! I saw the bigger container so I bought it not realizing it's the same brand. I literally ate most of the container! DELICIOUS!

I'm on a low FODMAP diet. I never buy avocados bc I can't have large servings. These cups are a perfect, yummy solution! Everyone's tolerance is different, but these are just the right size for me!

This product is a great way to add avocado to your diet easily. I open the container each morning and spread it across my toast and what's left over I eat it with the spoon. It's that good. It is so smooth no problem has a great taste and I will buy it again. By the way Avocado is good for you.

The taste is almost as bad as the texture. Highly recommend do not waste your money. Scrap this product, start from scratch, maybe try adding peas like other successful companies producing delicious guacamole or avocado.

It has a gritty texture. 16 cups of it. Would think maybe the pepper if hadn't have had before, but those experiences did not have a hard, gritty texture. Very concerning and hoping it does not fall victim to a recall like so many other healthier foods.
