Q: Can you install apps? Is this compatible with Seizure detection apps? Does it need a screen protector to protect against falls?

submitted by Katt - 1 month ago
  • A: Great question, Katt! Yes, you can download compatible apps directly to your Pixel Watch 2. To check if a specific app is available, reach out to the app's developers. While a screen protector can be a good idea, the Pixel Watch 2 has a durable, high-quality glass screen designed to withstand drops and falls.

Q: When the fall feature is activated, does it immediately call for help, or can you cancel it if it is a false alarm?

submitted by Susanc - 2 months ago
  • A: Hi Susanc, thanks for reaching out about the Google Pixel Watch 2 - Wifi. Google Pixel Watch 2 Notification: If a fall is detected, the watch displays a notification asking if you need help. Response: You have the option to: Dismiss the notification: If you're okay. "I fell and need help": This immediately contacts emergency services. Automatic Call (if no response): If you don't respond to the notification within about a minute, the watch will automatically call emergency services and provide your location. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

  • A: Great question, Susanc. When a hard fall is detected, your Pixel Watch 2 vibrates, rings loudly, and asks if you need emergency services. If there's no response within 30 seconds, it sounds an alarm and waits another 60 seconds before automatically calling emergency services. If location sharing is enabled, your watch shares your location with them.

Q: Can I swim with the watch

submitted by Xavier p - 29 days ago
  • A: Thanks for asking, Xavier p. Yes, Google Pixel Watch 2 is water-resistant up to 50 meters. It can handle rain, sweat from workouts, and shallow pools.

submitted byGoogle Team - 28 days ago
    Brand expert
  • A: Hi Xavier p, thanks for reaching out about Google Pixel Watch 2 - Wifi. Water Resistance: The Google Pixel Watch 2 has a water-resistance rating of 5 ATM (50 meters). This means it's designed to withstand pressure equivalent to that depth. This rating makes it suitable for swimming in shallow water. Important Considerations: While water-resistant, it's not fully waterproof. Water resistance can degrade over time due to wear and tear. Google advises minimizing exposure to moisture to maintain the watch's integrity. Avoid exposing the watch to soapy water, as it can negatively affect water resistance. It is recommended to clean and dry the watch after exposure to water. Practical Use: Many users successfully use the Pixel Watch 2 to track swimming activities. However, be aware that there's always a potential risk of water damage. In summary, you can swim with the Google Pixel Watch 2, but it's essential to be mindful of its water-resistance limitations and take proper care of the device. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Does this device monitor blood sugar/glucose?

submitted by Maurine - 1 month ago
  • A: Hi Maurine, thanks for reaching out about Google Pixel Watch 2 - Wifi. Unfortunately, the Google Pixel Watch 2, like most other smartwatches currently on the market, does not have the capability to directly monitor blood sugar or glucose levels. This is a feature that many companies are working on, but the technology is not yet advanced enough to be reliably and accurately included in a consumer-grade smartwatch. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

submitted byJoe - 1 month ago
    Target staff support
  • A: Thanks for the question, Maurine. Unfortunately, the Pixel Watch 2 cannot measure your glucose levels directly. With the Fitbit app, you can get reminders to check your glucose levels and manually record them.

The design, look, and set up is super nice. The features of adding pictures, accepting calls, health trackers are nice. However, I have had this watch for less than 2 years and already into mu 3rd charger for it. The charge from full battery, keep in mind I'm active but not go to the gym active, lasts for maybe 24 hours, and to charge it, it's very picky of how it's put on in order to actually charge. I'd rather go back to my $100.00 old school fit bit. Without a second thought.

Hey there, Egreg. We’re happy you’re enjoying the design and taking advantage of all the features. That said, we hear your concern about battery life. Here are some tips to reduce battery consumption: Shorten the screen timeout: Swipe down, tap Settings > Display > Screen timeout, and choose a shorter time, like 15 seconds. This means your watch goes to sleep more frequently when you're not using it. Turn off Always-on Display: Swipe down, tap Settings > Display > turn off "Always-on Display". Turn off the Tilt-to-wake feature: Swipe down, tap Settings > Gestures > turn off "Tilt-to-wake". Reach out to us if you need any more help.

I have been having issues with this watch since I got it in January. Battery is too small for the watch. After a full night charge I will put it on around 7AM and I may get 8 hours out of it. You have to wear the watch overnight for the oxygen saturation meter to work. I thought this would work really good with my Pixel phone but so disappointed with this watch. I wish I bought another Samsung watch.

Hi there, Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing battery issues with your Google Pixel Watch. To extend battery life and save power, you can try turning off the following features: 1). Always-on Display: On your watch, swipe down, tap Settings > Display, then turn off "Always-on Display." 2). Battery saver: Go to Settings > Battery, then turn on "Battery saver." 2). Bedtime mode: Turn on Bedtime mode to conserve battery during sleep. 3). Improve location accuracy: Go to Settings > Location > Google Location Accuracy, then turn on "Improve Location Accuracy."

This finally satisfies the combination of acceptable battery life, reasonable price, reasonable size, etc. that I've been looking for. Haven't had any issues with it. If you're in the market, I would recommend this one.

The things I liked the most is the health aspects of it. The reminders to get my steps in and heart rate monitoring was helpful. The only negative is that the band should be longer and have more notches especially considering the band's material.

Love that the shape is round and doesn't get my wrist caught in anything. There are tons of different colors and watch faces that you can customize yourself. Keeps track of my steps. I'm able to use voice to text to respond to any text messages I may have missed. Just all around a wonderful watch. Was easy to set up and use. My favorite device. Doesn't leave my wrist unless I'm charging it or in water . Definitely recommend for anyone that's looking for a smart watch that's easy to use and navigate through.

I love the round face of the watch versus the typical square style of smartwatches. It’s sleek and has a great design. The wristband is comfortable and doesn’t bother me while stretching and working out or being out on the go. The features are just what I was looking for and seem so much better than the other smartwatches I’ve used. Set up was easy and so far, all has gone well with this watch. I’d definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm very happy with the watch. Here are a few pros and cons. Pros: - The band is very comfortable, I can even sleep without it bothering me. - The magnetic charger is easy to connect and it charges very quickly. - It is pretty accurate at counting steps, although it sometimes misses steps if I'm pushing a shopping cart with that hand, and I often get a few bonus "steps" while driving. - The Find My Phone feature is really helpful. Cons: - It took me a long time to initially sync the device with Fitbit, since I already had a non-Google Fitbit account. - Some of the features on the watch face are really too small to see, like % battery remaining. - The battery doesn't last very long, maybe a day at most.

It adds such convenience to my everyday routine. My phone is pretty big, so it’s nice to not have to pull it out of my pocket constantly. It was super easy to setup and begin using. The battery does not last long enough to use all day and then at night as a sleep tracker, but I find it too bulky to sleep with anyway.

Battery life is about 24 hours before it needs to be charged which takes about 2 hours to full. If your looking for a watch to sleep in this is definitely great for that. My only gripe is the size. It seems a little small on me.. That being said I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone looking for a great watch that tracks all you daily stats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this watch. I had no idea it had GitBit technology built into it which is great because now it also syncs with my FitBit scale. It’s not too big and can be dressed up or down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice watch, it's visually appealing. But, it was not very comfortable for me. It rubbed on the bone that sticks out in my wrist and was uncomfortable some nights. Also, the battery life isn't too great. It only lasts about a day and a half, and that's with the always on display turned off. The touchscreen is soooo smooth and responsive. Lots of potential, but the battery life needs to be improved, it's frustrating to have to charge it when you want to track things like sleep and steps, you can't change at night or you miss that data.
