This time we decided to use the goya beans for black bean burgers! They were a hit. So much amazing flavor. I have never had a bean be that perfect. The consistency was amazing. We got compliments from our vegetarian friends. These will be a staple in our pantry from now on.

These are definitely worth getting the Goya brand because having to rinse black beans usually is a messy process. These seem to be easier to rinse and have a great flavor. Very versatile for a side dish or to replace meat for our vegetarian friends!

I always prepare this meal for my family and they absolutely love it. The beans hold their shape as need be and easily mash to recreate the refried bean texture. There is no other brand or substitution I like to use than Goya beans for my family.
