The battery backup is intended for short power outages only, so that the set time and alarm won't reset. The clock radio’s primary functions cannot run off of the battery backup alone.

Q: Does this radio have a fine tune control for maximum station clarity? Is there a fine tune control for volume?

Q: Can the radio be set loud when used as an alarm for a hard of hearing person?
