A: Thank you for your interest in our products! The recommended use for the 4Ever DLX car seat is when using rear-Facing with 5-Point Harness, your little one must be 49” (125 cm) or less: 4-22 lb (1.8-10 kg) less than 1 year old MUST be rear-facing. 22-40 lb (10-18 kg) should be rear-facing. Forward-Facing with 5-Point Harness your little one must be 49” (125 cm) or less: 22-40 lb (10-18 kg) can sit upright unassisted can be forward-facing. 40-65 lb (18-30 kg) should be forward-facing.

Q: At what weight do you take out the infant insert?

A: My son is four months old and have to move the seat up alittle because he is to big for the straps to be on the lowest setting so do I still need to keep the infant insert in or can I take it out? The bottom insert seems to bother my sons back and is making him uncomfortable

We delivered in NY and they REQUIRED us to bring the baby carseat in so they could wheel me and baby out in a wheel chair. They wouldn't allow my husband to carry the baby nor would they allow me to walk. A big car seat like this has to be installed while it is not occupied. I hope this helps!

Q: Can the seat fabric/cover be removed and machine washed? The description says wipe with mild detergent and water... that is concerning for 10 years of wear and tear!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the Gracie 4ever DLX 4-in-1 convertible car seat. The car seat is this beautiful gray fabric that is soft yet durable. This is a more expensive car seat but it is top of the line in quality. The padding is plush yet firm and forms to little bodies. It is super easy to convert the seat from a rear facing infant to a front facing harness to the 2 types of booster seat. The belt buckles on the seat are easy to buckle and unbuckle which is a must when dealing with infants and toddlers. I have had several other car seats and have had to struggle to unbuckle the belts to release the child. The cup holders are a larger size and will accommodate most water bottles an sippy cups . This seat reclines which is great for road trips. Overall it is a fancy yet safe, comfortable seat car that will accommodate your child from infant until they transition out of a car seat or booster seat to the regular seat belt. So for the money it is cheaper than purchasing 2 or 3 car seats. I received an incentive to write this review.

This can either be used right away for your infant or wait until they are out of the usual “infant” carry seat and need to remain rear facing. This seat is the only seat you could ever need to buy as it does everything - infant, rear face, forward face with harness or not and booster only. The seat is so easy to manipulate and install and has an huge level to pull to adjust the recline to fit the needs of your child or car. It has a very high back that fits so nicely in my truck and the pull tight strap is easily found on the front. It also has some really nice cup holders for use. I feel like the value is clear based upon the many uses of it, its weight and height maximums and the comfort it provides to me knowing the child in the seat is absolutely safe! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco 4Ever DLX 4 in 1 Car Seat is super nice. I love that it has the 4 different stages from rear facing to a backless booster. My almost 6 year old is just moving into a high back booster seat so this was great to move her into. It was super easy to install once I knew what I was doing. I loved how the lower anchor strap has a push button which makes it so easy to install. I always would struggle with other carseats anchor because it's so hard to see what you are doing but with this one who just hold the red button and hook it in. I'm glad we will be able to use this for several more years. I received an incentive to write this review.

My 3 year old fits comfortably and is about 42 inches tall. I like that I can adjust the back of headrest and you can easily remove the cover to wash when you inevitably need to. Also the side clips and back clip make it very secure and safe. With another newborn on the way I could even have her use the car seat as it can be rear facing and forward facing- and easily transition between cars if needed. The gray color is a great gender neutral option to grow with and use between siblings! I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this is quite a luxurious car seat! We currently have (4) children in Graco car seats and this one is the most plush and customizable by far. I really like how many adjustments and positions it allows and that we will be able to use it for many years. Even the fabric seems high quality and has a very modern pattern and color. It was easier to install than I expected as I really just had to click in the cup holders and adjust the headrest. It also feels very sturdy and safe once installed in the vehicle. And my toddler definitely seems to find it comfortable - she fell asleep in it before we even left the parking lot! I received an incentive to write this review.

This one does not come with the snug lock but aside from that it is secure, comfortable, and we know baby/toddler is safe. Installation is fairly easily in the event you need to move it from car to car. Our son seems to enjoy his car rides in it. It has a 40lb rear facing weight limit which is nice. We have yet to turn it over so I cannot speak to the front facing aspect! I received an incentive to write this review.

It’s not the best for 3 across; however, it grows with our kids so much. It’s been so easy to install rear facing and now forward facing. The instructions are very clear and simple. we also find it very helpful that this car seat has colored coated belt pads to help make installation even more clear. We also love the high rear facing limit. It allowed us to keep our oldest rear facing for much longer than some of the other car seats we had been looking at. He will typically start crying as soon as we start strapping him in. Not anymore! He loves the Graco car seat! He starts giggling when we place him in this and is much more calm now during the drive. I love the new fabrics on this seat, but the insert that’s required up to 40lbs isn’t something I see being comfortable for a bigger kid. The infant inserts also come out at 20lbs.

I recently purchased the Graco 4Ever DLX for my grandson, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Extremely confusing to set up with very unclear directions. The seat seems much smaller too. My 2 year old barely fit and he weights 30 pounds. Fabrics were rough polyester.

The best car seat! I’ve purchased 6 of these and have never had a problem with them. I like to get them on sale and pair with the trade in event coupon. Super easy to clean.
