Screw hole messed up doesn't allow assembly

One of the screw holes on the legs where the metal foot ring attached has metal pieces in the grooves of the screw hole. Does not allow the screw to go in the screw hole at all. Chair is not functional or stable without it. Chair is not very comfortable and the padding inside chair is not good quality for the price of it.
