- The GROSCHE Amsterdam is dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing the glass components to ensure they are not damaged accidentally in the dishwasher. For the reusable stainless steel coffee filter, we recommend washing it in the dishwasher on the bottom rach, or by hand with a sponge and some dish soap. This will keep the filter free flowing and remove any coffee oil residue that may build up over time.
- Can brew up to 28.7 fl oz. of coffee, which is enough for 2-3 cups at a time. Since its a pour over coffee maker, it's best paired with gooseneck water kettle (not included with Amsterdam) that will allow you to control the pour of water into the coffee maker. Controlling how the water is poured into the coffee maker will help you fine tune the flavor just the way you like it. This manual brewing method is highly engaging, and rewarding with rich and very smooth flavors being extracted from your favorite coffee beans.

The GROSCHE AMSTERDAM Pour over coffee maker is great for a true pour over coffee lover. It comes with a removable borosilicate glass chamber for easy pouring. It also has a double layer reusable stainless steel coffee filter for ultra smooth coffee and its design is unique and easy to use for brewing the perfect cup.The unique coffee filter has been designed by GROSCHE to give you a rich coffee flavor with the natural coffee oils passing through into your cup to give a bolder coffee flavor profile, while holding back all grinds to give a totally smooth cup. Q: Does the glass top part get too hot to touch/remove after brew, or does it cool down enough to use bare hands?

A: Hi, We advise waiting just a bit before removing the top part as it may heat up because of the hot water being poured in to it.

A: Hi,The capacity of the Amsterdam is 850 ml and depending on the capacity of the mug you are using(standard mug capacities vary from 250-350ml) it should make about 2-3 mugs.

The pourer area chipped off and cut my finger while hand washing. For 70 dollars I expected this to last longer than the cheaper Bodum ones I've had that have also broke but they lasted longer!

I like to make my coffee different ways depending on how I feel certain days and so does my husband so we have several coffee makers. This coffee maker has a double walled glass top and permanent coffee filter; it will give you a smooth, yet rich, cup of coffee. I like the permanent filter vs. having to buy disposable cone filters so often since I use this all the time.

Grosche continues to make quality products. I was looking for a pour over that has a larger size to get 2 cups. I had a small one that only had 1 cup capacity. This is great, the metal filter is good for medium - fine coffee grind and the filter also has a glass container around it making it a much more stable setup. The coffee pours into 2+ cup size glass container that is easy to carry and pour out of. Liking the feel and it completes my collection of grosche products

My husband is a coffee connoisseur and has been getting his family into high quality coffee and coffee making. His preferred brewing method are pour overs. We use a Chemex at home and wanted to get them an affordable pour over coffee maker as a gift, so they can enjoy pour overs as well. This is great because it comes with a reusable stainless steel coffee filter, so they don’t ever have to worry about buying or running out of bonded coffee filters which often happens with us. The main difference between the two is that this pour over maker comes in two pieces versus just one, so the top glass layer where the filter is located is removable which makes it easy to clean. This also comes equipped with a non-slip grip in the middle that is also where the pour over should be held when it’s piping hot to prevent from burning your fingers. Overall, this is a really nice and high quality pour over coffee maker that can make up to 29 ounces of coffee which is perfect for 2-3 cups of coffee. In addition, this is dishwasher safe, so you can easily place in the dishwasher to clean daily!

Love the sleek details on this coffee filter - glass body is heavy, definitely doesn’t feel cheap. Also love the middle soft silicon grip instead of cork material that other companies use, which can easily stain from coffee or water. It can make a couple cups of coffee, which I leave in the fridge overnight for cold brew. The permanent steel coffee filter is eco friendly and replaces my need to buy paper filters every once in a while which is also a huge plus:)

Easy to clean and coffee comes out great! strongly suggest you couple this with a gooseneck kettle to do the pour over. There are many guides on how to properly brew coffee in a chemix like coffee maker. Also, it is so much easier to clean than my current french press and I don't get that gritty muddy taste towards the bottom.
So easy to use, and makes delish coffee!

This looks really nice on my counter, and I think it would make a fantastic gift. It's my first time using any kind of pour over coffee maker, and it was super easy to use. On my very first try the coffee turned out delicious! My boyfriend loves and and I'll probably get one for my dad for his birthday too!

I made my first brew with this coffee maker and it came out delicious. It is well built with a beautiful design. Usage was very easy and it also comes with clear instructions. My favorite thing about this is that the filter is reusable as it doesn't require paper filters. Overall, I'm thoroughly enjoying my pour overs with this.

I’ve tried this with loose tea leaves and ground coffee. I like my drink extra dark so I find that I have to drip the drink twice. It’s so easy to clean up and use next time. This is good for a single serving beverage. Saves on the coffee filter and the drink taste just like the drip machines. Each piece is dishwasher safe.

I bought it because I saw the barista did it a lot at the coffee shop that I went. Rather than spend 6 bucks every time, why don't get 1. Unbelievable the taste is way much better than the automatic coffee maker. This is affordable and easy to clean, if you don't want to put it in dishwasher, hand wash with brush also ok. Enough for 2 people to drink the coffee, also has beautiful look. You do need to keep 1 way rotation tho.
