Although it might not feel safe to all customers, the tamper tape on the outside of the jar does meet current industry safety standards. Starting this summer, we will include a heat induction seal in our 10oz jars, as we have received other customers sharing this same concern.

No inner safety seal on product. I won’t eat something that is not sealed properly. I wish I’d seen these reviews before I purchased. There was a thin strip of gold tape across the lid. I don’t know if that was supposed to be the safety seal or not. Even a little film of plastic under the screw on top would make this product more “safe” in my opinion. Fortunately Target readily refunded my $. Then when I opened it, it was so liquidy that I didn’t know if the product was compromised or not. It’s a shame as I was so looking forward to tasting this product.

I've heard good things but buying this online meant I didn't see the size for the cost. The jar came unopened with a seal but wasn't filled anywhere close to the top and was a small jar.

Although the jar is not filled to the top, I can assure you each jar does contain a full 10oz of nut butter, as we weigh each jar before shipping. Our current jars are just a little big, so I understand how that can feel deceiving! Thanks to your feedback and others, we are working to source a smaller jar in line with 10 ounces that will launch this summer! We hope you will give our product another try.

I ordered it once with curbside pick-up - no safety seal, just a little piece of tape holding the lid. Thinking this was a fluke, I got a refund and ordered again because it sounded sooo good and I thought my toddler would love it. Again, no inside seal! It’s disgusting. Why would Target carry such an unsafe product?

This is so so good! I wanted to dislike it but sadly I was disappointed. I added it to my oatmeal and it's a game changer! Can't wait to incorporate it with other stuff like Acai bowls, toast etc. The ingredients are clean and simple which is what sold me when looking at the description. Giving it 4 stars mainly because of the price... Although its worth it.

Ground Up is my go-to hostess gift for every dinner party and weekend at friends. Every recipient is a convert - the taste is far superior to grocery store nut butters and it's an amazing cause. This is my favorite flavor - but Coconut Cashew, Classic, and the Chocolate Raspberry are also amazing. I first received it as a gift during Covid and haven't used any other brand since.

Any natural product with cashews is difficult to find under $10. Even at a 10-12oz. So I was impressed that this combination of almonds and cashews along with non-artificial vanilla bean and cinnamon was $9.99. The consistency is thicker, but not too thick - which is great because I am not a fan of thin and liquidy nut butters. It's what I expect and assures me I am getting the protein I want with each serving. And there's no artificial sweeteners on top of that. I am giving it 4/5 because the quality and price are great as quality nut butters can cost quite a bit. It's just that they aren't certified organic yet - but their site stresses that they ARE pesticide-FREE, which is critical for someone like me who has Celiac Disease.
