Recently bought a pint of your pistachio ice cream. It did not have any flavor at all. Totally disappointed with this. I also bought a pint of your strawberry ice cream and It was so delicious. Will not be buying the pistachio again.

I don’t know why the reviews for this flavor are so skewed. I’ll be honest, i haven’t tried other brands pistachio yet. because after trying HD i don’t even want to! HD Pistachio ice cream is so good. Creamy texture, great pistachio flavor, doesn’t taste artificial at all. Comes with pieces of real pistachio throughout. it is so hard to stop myself from finishing a whole pint. Just saw absolutely conflicting reviews to the actual experience and wanted to add my opinion. Get it!

I've tried every brand of pistachio i can find. I have tried B&J, Better Goods, Turkey Hill, Lee Vaneuwen. Haagen-Dazs is the best. I see a lot of reviews saying the old flavor was better. I never had it, but this one is wonderful. It is my current comfort food. The size of the pistachios is perfect. I wish it came in a bigger size.

The title says it all. The original recipe was amazing. It is all about the base. The sweet cream flavor that used to be the flavor plus the pistachios were AMAZING together. The newer flavor base is fine but nowhere near as good. I’ve stopped buying it.

I tried this ice cream flavor thinking it was any other ice cream. but no I'm in the hospital on my death bed because there was a incredibly poisines spider that had infected me and gave me testicular ball cancer I pray that nobody else has to go though this pain

We purchased this and Butter Pecan and both are bland, watery. I just looked at ingredients and you use corn syrup. Check your competitors like Ben and Jerry’s or Tillamook, they use high quality ingredients and taste so much better. We will not be wasting our $$$. Your brand used to be such a higher quality before you were bought out and it shows.

Why did you change the Pistachio recipe? This new recipe is not good - please bring back the old one! And don't use corn syrup - you ask about "high quality ingredients" in this review form - I'm pretty sure corn syrup is not on the "high quality" list. At your price point, it's easy to switch to another brand - if I were you Haagen Dazs, I'd stop "fixing" things that aren't broken...

The old pistachio recipe was the best ever... This new version tastes like store brand pistachio. Why the change? What happened to if it isn't broke, don't fix it?!? I used to buy Haagen Dazs pistachio all the time but I won't be buying it again. To think that Ben and Jerry's pistachio is now better than Haagen Dazs pistachio... sheesh!

Haagen-Dazs pistachio used to be my absolute favorite ice cream flavor… until they changed the recipe. They should’ve kept it the same! The new recipe tastes much more of fake pistachio flavor, whereas the old sweetcream ice cream brought out the flavor of the pistachio nuts. In addition, the sweetcream ice cream was what set Haagen dazs apart from other pistachio ice creams, but this new recipe tastes the same as all the others I have tried, a little lack luster. I love Haagen-Dazs ice cream but the recipe change was disappointing!
