HABA On the Farm Tummy Time Water Play Mat

This is a great way to keep your little one entertained while on his tummy. My first grandchild had one of these and loved it so I purchased another one for my second grandson. The parents like it because the materials are safe for baby and babies like it because it is so interesting for them.

She just recently started her tummy time and I wanted one with water . This mat is perfect for our baby. She loves it and enjoys her tummy time with this mat. There is no plastic smell and the water bag can be tightly capped off to prevent leaks. The scenery on the mat is interesting enough for our daughter and the squeaky pig is a bonus. The water bag gives her something different to touch and improves her tactile responses. Loved it.

It’s made of good material so u don’t have to worry about leaking and breaking easily

The best part is that the outline is soft and pillow like. I have seen other water ones that are all rubber and seem uncomfortable for the baby. My baby loves playing with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s adorable! Never even knew a water play mar existed like this. Is very different. It’s a good size, nothing huge and it’s made well and secure. The water is very neat and it the play mar gets a lot of interaction from my little. I do a lot of tummy time, to strengthen muscles and this just makes it even better. No bad odors, no sharp edges. And it’s made very nicely. I love the farm theme and it works for a girl or a boy. The animal and the tractor on it are cute and it’s a soft little mat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been my lil guys favorite activity for tummy time. I love the fabric casing keeps it soft and gives no harsh edges, the detachable farmer and crinkly sun are great touches as well. Having looked at over similar mats I've been really impressed by the quality and extra design details which make it more appropriate for infants. The fabric casing separates for cleaning and the valve for filling at the back is really secure and seems unlikely to leak. Our baby loves to lie and see the butterflies more about inside!

It is easy to assemble and can easily be taken on the go in a diaper bag to use at different places! This will be a lot of fun for tummy time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love anything to encourage tummy time with my little one. The quality is really good and there is no chemical smell. I have a few things from this German brand because they’re great. It’s Velcro’d in and you can easily take it out. There’s a valve that you open up then squeeze open to allow you water through so it’s super secure. There’s crinkly paper, a squeeker, and rattle included so it touches on multiple senses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Haba Farm Water Play Mat Tummy Time Activity holds the grand daughter's interest. She likes to see(& feel) the water move & watch the butterflies move. I'm not convinced though that she even knows that she is causing the movement. She occasionally likes making the sounds with the sun, pig, and farmer rattle when she happens across them but she doesn't search them out. But like most babies she spends a lot of time trying to eat everything, the mat, the water, just everything....lol. Outside of her handling the rattle, like any rattle, I don't really think this mat setup helps with her motor skills especially when she tries grabbing butterflies she can't ever get & just move on her when she tries to. She sticks to just watching them move. Adding a light or sound that would easily activate by mere touch might, & I stress "might" help some with motor skills. It is great toy to hold a baby's attention & interest for a while but not much more. I've never been sold on any of the "tummy time" angles anyhow. The mat is a great toy to hold a bay's interest but let's be honest, really no extra learning or skills improvement involved with any of these tummy time mats. The marketing idea is this: Just because it's touched & felt it's called "tactile" play. Because there's sound somewhere it's "acoustic" play. Because movement can be seen it's "visual" play. Crawling to tthis toy cpromotes "muscle development". What toy deosn't do all these things even if the baby has to bang it against something? I checked out all the videos I could find of this and other mats like these & the videos (not what's said) are pretty accurate when one watches what the babies are actually doing when they actually show them using them which is not surprisingly very rare. The babies move the water while futilely attempting to grab what's in the water and spend a lot more time trying to bite the water & every single part of the mats. The truth is that babies just can't learn what's beyond the actual brain's ability for their age. These mats just don't work as activity centers do for pretty obvious reasons. There's really no need at all to promise what can't ever really be delivered. I think all of these mats really should be marketed for exactly what they are, simply a really great playtime baby toy that holds a baby's interest for a while. And this mat certainly performs that function well ! And that's more than enough,
