My grandson loves this ! He is 5 and loves to explore and examine plants and bugs up close.

Enjoyed this gadget at the Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley and was disappointed that I couldn’t get one from their gift shop — so I was glad to find it online: a gift for a 9-year-old, and the whole family loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As my son is home from daycare and I am teaching him STEM, this product came just in time! He really enjoyed looking into the magnifying glass! I like this product because it has a clip which I was able to clip on with some other toys that he uses regularly during stroller rides when we go out for errands or to the park.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I raise caterpillars into butterflies as a little hobby of mine and my daughter loves using this to see the caterpillars close up. You can see them from all directions. I don't let her leave anything alive in it very long as I don't feel there's really enough air flow though. Overall, a great learning toy for children.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Terra Kids - Exploration Magnifying Glass is a great educational toy for the inquisitive child! It is super easy to use: Simply place anything you want (think: leaf, twig, insect, worm etc) inside and the item can then be safely viewed. Really really cool. It doesn't enlarge the item all that much, but still super amazing.

Not only do they stick little bugs in there to watch, they also stick leaves and flowers to use under the magnifying glass. Love this toy and how it gets them interested in going outside and learning about bugs. Definitely recommend it.

My 4 year old son absolutely loved playing with it. I did get a bit creeped out when it came with a fake spider though lol.

They love how easy it is to tote around, the clasp makes it easy to attach to a bag or hang up. It is easy to open and big enough to place a bug or small nature item inside. My kids also got a kick out of the spider toy that came inside of it.

This nifty little device keeps their "pets" safe as they are carried into the house as mom yells to take them back outside. During their journey, the little insects get a 360 degree view of their world while my kids get a close up of them. Fun interactive toy.

Just like all of their toys, Haba did an excellent job designing this particular toy. It is an excellent learning toy with tons of features while being incredibly easy to use. My toddler paraded around outside placing different items in the magnifying glass and examining them from all different angles. This toy is also quite sturdy and withstands lots of drops. I highly recommend for any curious little ones. Great toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son absolutely loves his new toy and keeps him busy for awhile. The magnifying glass has two ways to look through. The handles on each side makes it easy to hold and maneuver. There is also a clip on there that he could clip on his jeans loop.

This product does magnify up to 6x on top and 4x on bottom. Overall an excellent product and terra kids brand seems durable and every lasting!

The magnifier works surprisingly well for a toy and just last night we were filling it with lightning bugs and they were observing the bugs. It’s really sturdy and well made and most importantly durable for rough little hands! It’s very good quality and I would recommend to anyone with a child into finding adventures!

It has a magnifier that helps the little ones see their creepy crawlers more clearly. It even comes with its own spider to start the adventure! Any little one would love this toy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am someone who loves spiders and other bugs so this is something I have been excited to pass down to my son. I love that it comes with a plastic spider toy so I could teach him what it does before using real insects. We went outside and looked at ants, rolly polly bugs, spiders and earwigs. We both had so much fun catching, watching examining and releasing everything we could find. My only complaint would be that the dome top just pushes on, it doesn't screw down so don't give it to young kids who may pop off the top while playing with it and get injured by the bug.
