This was a cute lacing toy but it has many loose pieces, which were hard to keep track of (and some were lost). Also, the wood had a weird smell to it - not chemical, but more of a natural paint or varnish. A wooden toy should not smell the way this smelled, because it was unpleasant.

Our three year old has a hand condition where her thumb is missing a ligament and some muscle so we have been looking for toys she can enjoy and learn from while working on dexterity and fine motor skills. This does absolutely that, not to say your kid needs help with that to buy this toy. She has gotten much better at recognizing numbers and patterns since we got this. We couldn't be happier with this toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can’t wait for my girl to be old enough to play with this! So far she loves the coloured pieces and placing it on the caterpillar. Hopefully she will learn how to weave them together. Very simple design, nothing fancy but does the job. Comes in a huge box for such a small thing which is makes it a little but awkward for storing. The pieces swim in the box like fish in an ocean. Only minor complaint but when you have toys with pieces having good storage and organisation is important to me.

I like the quality of the board and the colors are bright. I can tell a difference with my daughters motor skills after 1 month. I highly recommend this threading game

The best part is, they are developing new skills and learning as they play. The game is color coded and easy for them to understand and play. It is very good quality and will last for years.

Looking at it, I don't think we're there yet but glad to have it when she is... Maybe Christmas. It seems pretty well built and will be great for her dexterity. She loves colors and rainbows and bugs, so it's the perfect mix.

He loves using the string to sew on his colorful buttons with a sense of accomplishment. Many children will benefit from this learning toy. It is very well made also, no rips or tears, it is made to hold up to any toddler. Definitely recommend this product to parents and caregivers who want something that will increase the knowledge of a child and benefit him as well.
