Q: How many positions does it Have. Can I just the leg part to recline without having to recline all the way?

submitted by Mee - 11 months ago
  • A: Hello Robyn, Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Halima 2-Seater Recliner. We appreciate your interest in our product. Our recliner includes three reclining positions. Unfortunately, the footrest cannot be used seperately from the backrest, as the reclining mechanism requires the use of body weight to push backward into the seat into a reclining position. If you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else, please feel free to reach out to us. We're here to help! Thank you!

I would have given this five stars initially, but after less than two years of light use, the cushion has broken down and you are literally sitting directly on top of springs. We have owned the other pieces of furniture in our living room for over five years with no such issue. Last time I will purchase from this manufacturer.

Poor quality! Do not purchase! After sitting in it only a handful of times it started to sag. You can not sit anywhere but in the middle because if you sit on the side with your pet or another person you feel like you are falling into the middle. It also collects all dust, lint, etc. The back support is off and causes neck pain, as well.

So Sorry I Purchased - 2 years ago
I looked for months trying to find just the right BLUE loveseat! I finally found this one at Target. I was soooo excited! I bought it right away. It was so easy to assemble. I did it by myself and absolutely loved it!!!! BUT, within 5 months I started having issues. The seams on the back actually split apart! Other parts of the back becan to sag as well as one area where the seat met the back. I had purchased the warranty and it was useless. After i submitted a claim with pictures, it was denied... because it doesn't cover tears!!! I couldn't get in touch with the manufacturer after numerous attempts. So, here I am, one year later with a loveseat that is literally coming a part at the seams!! I'm sooooo dissappointed. DO NOT PURCHASE - YOU WILL BE SORRY!

The seat cover slid and left you sitting on springs within 4 months, and the seat back broke on one side at month 6. For a recliner whose description says it is sturdy and will hold up to 2 people daily- it didnt hold up to one person for 9 months. LOW QUALITY!

I do not have high standards for furniture, but this has to be the worst purchase I have ever made. I got this at the end of Oct 2021. Within a week, the fabric in the foot recliner area ripped. Not a big deal to me, figured a kid put their foot wrong. Stitched it back enough to not have a big hole. Seemed ok for a few months, but then noticed the springs in the seat were coming up. Ended up with a big lump of springs towards the front of the seat that made it so uncomfortable and unusable, but of course it was just after the warranty expired. It is now April 2022, and we have already had to completely replace this (after budgeting for a bit to save up yet again for a couch).

Purchased two to replace large sectional couch. The delivers were to come together but did not. One box arrived damaged but the chair was fine. Easy to assemble. Firm but cozy. Easy to recline. Holds two adults comfortably. Great for holding hands, snuggling and watching a movie with your significant other.

We loved the recliner at first because it fit well and looked nice. It only lasted about a year before it started falling apart. The foam moved around in the seat cushion and the back seem split open (you could see foam sticking out). The frustrating part was that we didn’t even use it much.

This piece fits perfectly under my loft bed! I never knew recliners came in mini and honestly this one is solid! Looking at other reviews I knew I was taking a risk, but I think I lucked out on this one. I got this early March before SIP and honestly since then it's gotten full use every day with my boyfriend and me, and so far it's held up over the past five months. I was worried, as some of the seat cushioning is starting to move a bit, but overall it's been a solid win. I've been on the fence returning it because the overall quality of the item does feel questionable (like, boyfriend isn't sure how long it will last), but the ease of putting it together, the overall comfort, the endurance it holds to everyday use and the size of the piece really drive me to keep it. I've given it almost half a year and the most it has done is fight us on lowering the leg rest (something other reviews have noted). Despite these possible flaws, the gray charcoal recliner is easy to clean (I also put a fitted twin sheet on it to protect it) and, with some patience, is easy to utilize the footrest. I got this item because it was a reclining loveseat that was sub 48", which is a rarity. It's holding up to two 200lb adults sitting on it for hours on end, and it gets moved around often without falling apart (we have storage behind it that we reach for once a week). the back cushioning is comfortable and honestly, I've fallen asleep frequently on this when fully reclined and woken up incredibly refreshed. We lucked out and got a good one, even better back when it was only $380! I think this would do better if they put it back on super sale again!

The great thing was the color (blue) and ease of putting it together but that's about it. We had 2 of the blue and the comfort was ok... with just 1 week of sitting on it, developed a sag. We are about 100lbs and 150lbs and 180 lbs between the 3 of us and I just don't see it lasting even 5 months... best to invest in another piece. The foot rest has to be pushed back to snap into place and the full reclined position will not stay... even on sale it was not worth it. Guess will have to keep looking...

It's more comfortable than you would think. The leg lift comes out easy but it's a little tough to push it back down. I always have to get off and push it in hard with my leg or hand. It fits great into our little spot which is 48". It can fit my husband who is 5'11 and me together - I'm 5'. Or it can fit us and one of our kids. It's a great reading nook.
