This innovative material absorbs, stores, and releases heat to help ensure baby is perfectly safe and comfortable. The IntelliThread™ fibers are embedded within the cozy fabric and won’t wash out or fade. Also includes HALO®’s signature 3-way swaddle design that adjusts to fit baby’s sleep style: arms in, hands-to-face, or one or both arms out. Signature “Back is Best” embroidery is a gentle reminder to place baby in the recommended sleep position. Features an inverted zipper for easy diaper changes and scratch-free zipper covers. Roomy sack design is recognized by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute as promoting healthy hip development. Available in 3 colors, each with contrasting neon trim. My newborn loves this swaddle. I feel like we've tried every brand of swaddle stores sell and she does best with this one. It keeps her arms snug but not so tight across her chest. It gives her the snug feeling that helps her sleep without making her feel like she needs to fight out of it. My biggest complaint is the velcro, it's very strong but extremely loud. I wish we could take the 'quiet velcro' feature from other swaddles and put it on these and they would be perfect.

My 3-week old baby was able to push the top layer of this swaddle up over her face in the middle of the night, even when velcroed across her body. This swaddle is NOT safe. So thankful we were watchful and saved her. We will never use this swaddle again.

Thank you for the honest review. We're sorry to hear about this experience. Because Ideal Temp has a naturally stretchy fabric, we do recommend sizing down if you're between sizes. Otherwise, swaddling arms out can be a solution for more wiggly babies who use their hands during sleep. That said, we're sorry to hear this and have shared your feedback with the larger HALO team.

Best swaddle option for newborns! We ordered this after using the birth centers, and it is perfect. It's easy to use and you can customize it to your baby. Our baby loves having his arms out, but we were still able to give him that swaddled feeling.

Although this product did help keep my baby snug it had a horrible smell to it. I left it on the first part of the night thinking a skunk sprayed outside my house and then realized that it was actually the sleep sack. It is a weird chemical/skunky smell. Definitely don't feel safe allowing my baby to breathe that in.

With this particular halo swaddle, I have the extra peace-of-mind that she's comfortable temperature wise overnight. As a first time mom, peace-of-mind is everything! Now, at 3 months, we're beginning to transition her out of being totally swaddled, and the ability to give her one arm, then two arms out of the swaddle is made so easy as this item transforms into a wearable blanket. We love it!

It has a strange chemical scent that won't come out with washing. It's really odd and makes me uncomfortable putting it on my newborn at night. It worked decently otherwise but like many others mentioned the Velcro was too sticky and annoying to try and get on the baby.

The one thing I hope would be different- the Velcro being so loud waking up my baby if I need to change her diaper. Another would be great would be a zipper on the bottom go fast access to diaper change and not having to un swaddle disturbing her sleep
