Q: Two part question: 1) How do garbage bags fit around the handle to pull the canister out? 2) Is each can 8 gallons? I saw that it's a 16 gallon can (I'm assuming combined), but that you should use a 13 gallon bag?

A: Hello, the total capacity of the unit is 16 gallon with 2 8 gallon inner bins. The trash bag will wrap around the inner bin and tucked into an infinity loop on the inner bin.

A: No, a standard grocery bag will not fit. The inner bins need a 13 gallon bag for each bin.

Arrived somewhat dented in a few places on the back side, so we ended up returning it. Otherwise the outside looked nice, clean design. One feature I didn’t like was that there didn’t appear to be a way to keep the lid open unless your foot was on the lever. Also, while the lid had a nice soft close feature, it tended to open really fast regardless of how much pressure was used - this caused the lid to be noisy and/or slam into the wall behind it if the trash can wasn’t positioned just right. Not worth it for the price.
