This mixer has power. I bought this one after my 25 year old Hamilton Beach mixer broke. I had originally bought a different one that promised so much, but started smoking after trying to mix cookie dough with it. After I returned that one, I purchased this one. It’s amazing! It powered through cookie dough and didn’t struggle at all. If you’re debating purchasing this one don’t hesitate anymore. You’ll love it.

This seemed like a pretty good price point for what you got. Three different sets of mixing paddles. Pulled it all out of the box and started washing everything, only to realize I was missing a whisk. So now I get to go stand in line and return it. Do I try another one? Or should I just buy something else online? I don't know. It hadn't been opened, it was obviously brand new. Oh well.

I was attracted to this unit because I wanted something quieter than my existing hand mixer and the price was reasonable. It is notably quiet. However, it completely failed at producing a small portion of whipped cream, which turned out more like a dense paste and took forever. The top speed RPMs are just not high enough (Setting 7, with Boost, using Whisk attachment). I gave it a week of daily use, but I'll be returning this and going back to my older Hamilton Beach that gets the job done efficiently, even if it is much louder.

I bought this one bc it said “professional” , 7 speeds and was expensive, it’s doesn’t have power, wouldn’t beat the eggs, both mixers were crap, it’s 150 watt motor and the one I am looking to replace is 225- taking this back, not enough power and beaters are crap

I've only used the standard beaters but they work great. The mixer has a true low speed and the top speed is more than fast enough for my mixing needs. Even on low speed the mixer seams to make enough torque and doesn't bog down. The motor is fairly quiet, much quieter than the bargin mixers. I wouldn't attempt to use this mixer for bread but it is ready and willing to mix menagerie, cookies, brownies, and cakes. The storage case is a great feature. I took off a star because it doesn't have the bowl rest feature that some of the other Hamilton Beach mixers have. Since this one is labeled "Professional" I feel that it should have this feature.
