We purchased this as a wedding gift to go along with bottles of wine. Great price & exactly what the couple registered for. Arrived quickly.

Love that it’s rechargeable. I don’t love the foil cutter.

We attempted to use this bottle opener and it removed the cork and then stopped working. It Wouldn’t release the cork or even power on any more after one use. Even when left on a charger for a week. I would consider it a piece of junk. Spend your money on something else.

When trying to get the cork screw through the cork, the wine bottle opener would lose power and struggle. It was also very hard to grip the bottle opener to pull up and extract the cork. After about 15 minutes an no progress, I gave up and removed the electric wine opener and went back to using my old fashion manual cork screw which worked wonders compared to this electric one that I thought would make my life easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been able to take the cork out of a bottle of wine. Never. I have used every kind of opener/remover, and I end up with the cork pushed inside the bottle, or broken up in pieces, or something--but not the way I want. This is incredibly easy to use; it came partly charged, so all I needed to do was put the foil cutter on the back of the base, plug it in, and put the opener on to finish charging. It takes up very little room, so I've just left it on the counter, so it's right there when needed. To open the wine, use the cutter to remove the foil around the top of the bottle; push the opener down on the bottle and hold it there while pushing the "down" arrow. When the opener stops, the cork will be inside the opener, and the bottle will be open! Super easy, no muss, no fuss. Now I don't have to get my husband to do it any more.

This cordless electric wine opener has solved my problem. It is very easy to use , fast and effective. No spells anymore. It is a very high quality opener that I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband & I have found this wine opener to be a wonderful improvement over our manual corkscrews. It is the easiest cork removal ever. There is no pressure or manual exertion required. Even with my carpal tunnel and his arthritis, this tool was a breeze. The cork came out of the bottle in one piece and unscrewed itself in a single smooth process. The charger has a minimal footprint on the counter - always a bonus! The added foil cutter worked better than any I have used before. All in all, a great product!!

It has a foil cutter that is stored on the base of the charger that works great. The opener worked smoothly and pulled the cork out so easily with the push of a button. It also releases the cork with the push of a button. It can open up to 30 bottles on a charge. It is small and lightweight. If you are looking for a bottle opener that is is easy to use, this one will not disappoint!

For quite a number of years, I have used a "Lever type" corkscrew, which was much superior to the other "manual" corkscrews I had used. However, depending in the bottle, even that would at times be quite an ordeal. I have used this product now on several different types of wine bottles, and it has proven to be virtually effortless and easy to use. It is also quiet, not silent, but quiet! Although it is a little on the large size, it is not at all heavy, and is easy to handle. I have not yet tested how long it will hold a charge, but as I always leave it charging on my counter top, that is not a concern with me. I would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great product! The first thing you notice with this wine opener is how sleek it looks which gives off a "fancy" vibe. Upon having it for a few weeks, I haven't had to charge the opener just yet and that in itself is impressive. Being that the strength in my hands isn't what it used to be, the ease of using this opener is key and let me tell you...With this opener you'll have your wine open in no time. I had no issues with the removal of the cork or foil. The only side note that is worth mentioning is I've noticed that it's not as quiet as I had hoped for but on the bright side, its not super loud to make it a real concern. I recommend this product to any wine drinker out there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very pleased with the Hamilton Beach Cordless Electric Wine Opener. Even though most wine lovers have many foil cutters it is nice that this opener comes with one and that the recharging base is made with a spot to store the cutter. The opener is easy to use as you position the wine opener above the cork after removing the foil and then push the up/down button. The opener then extracts the cork and you push the up button to get the opener to release the cork. The directions claim that a single charge will open up to 30 bottles of wine. I have only had my opener for a little over a week so I have not used it on 30 bottles yet but it has opened all of the bottles so far and has not required recharging. I like that the battery is permanently built into the opener rather than using traditional batteries that have to be changed out. It is more efficient and the built in battery is stronger to provide the power needed to open the bottles. When charging the opener it is nice that the indicator on the charging base turns green to let you know it is fully charged. The instructions recommend an initial charge of at least 8 hours even though the green light comes on sooner than that. I love this opener and highly recommend it. I first thought it might seem gimmicky but it is cool and the functionality is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have opened many bottles of wine in my day, this appliance sure makes it much easier to do. The foil cutter attachment is really unique and a delight to use. It makes a nice clean cut and allows the foil to be easily removed. I always found it disagreeable when you invest in an expensive bottle of wine and you want to remove the foil and do so neatly, and it comes off in pieces and looks ragged and when you pour your wine it makes a bad impression. I guess that's proof of my OCD. In use of the opener when removing the cork the only caveat I make note of is that you should make sure that the bottle does not turn while the corkscrew is doing it's job. I also found that it is best to keep the bottle and the opener true to vertical. In my numerous uses of the opener I noted that some corks caused the motor to work harder and took longer to remove the cork. But it has not ever failed to properly remove a cork. The other thing I like about the opener is that by it's design the corkscrew enters the cork in the middle as the lip around the opener mouth aligns same evenly. The use of the opener with the reverse function easily allows removal of the cork from the opener. Not much more to say then it sure does an efficient job and if you have the necessary and small amount of counter space to keep this appliance, any wine aficionado would appreciate one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first sight of the Coordless Wine Opener, I was intimidated - after all, I can get hassled by a manual corkscrew. Not to worry, once fully charged the opener is simple to use. Included is a separate foil cutter which can be stored in a slot in the back of the charging stand. After cutting and removing the top of the foil from the bottle, you insert the bottle neck into the bottom of the device and push the lower arrow. When the cork is removed from the bottle it stops; to release the cork you push the upward arrow and the cork unwinds and drops out. This is ideal for anyone with arthritis in their hands. The opener takes up little counter space and is quite sleek looking.
