[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this and was not disappointed! So far we have grilled steaks, hamburgers and porkchops all while inside my home. It takes very little time to set up and even less to get started. Depending on the cut and thickness and how you want the meat cooked will depend on your temperature. But the thicker the meat the longer and I do mean LONGER it will take! One night I had a very thick cut of new York steaks and I don't know if I could have ever made that a well done steak had someone preferred it that way. Clean up for the most part is pretty easy. Most can go into the dishwasher, but you do need to watch for the grease that gets trapped under the lid. It can make for a messy experience when getting it out next time! Other than that this is my best grill I have had indoors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item abut a month ago and have used it many times. The cooking grate heats up fast and grills nicely! The grate top is easy to clean with the copper non-stick coating, but the bottom takes a little more attention to clean. I also found the cover easy to remove, but a little hard to clean. There was some heat damage to the lid about the middle of the lid, see attached pics.. The lid could use a design upgrade to make cleaning easier and fight the heat problem on the edges. The grease catch under the grill plate is more than adequate for the cooking that I did, ie. burgers, steaks, and chicken. It is an overall good appliance!

I Couldn’t Figure Out Where It Was Broke From And Was Skeptical On If It Would Cook Or Not . But Decided To Give It A Try And See If The Grill Would Turn On And Heat . I Cooked These Burgers . It Cooked Excellent And Got Hot Without No Problem . I Love This Great Grill And Will Use It A lot During The Winter Months . I Like The Design And You Can Cook Many Different Things . And It Was So Easy To Clean And Love The Grease Tray .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family does quite a bit of grilling and were excited to try the Hamilton Beach Searing Grill for those days when it is cold and dreary outside, or when you need a quick meal without heating up the grill! This grill comes with a removeable grill plate, which makes it easy to clean. The grill hood also removes for easy cleaing. While it did take a bit to heat up the first time, we've noticed that the time to heat up improves with use. We used the sear setting and got some great grill marks on the brats (see picture). The grill plate is pretty spacious and has a section without open slates for smaller items like veggies, so they don't fall through. As my picture shows, you could grill a whole package of brats on this grill at one time! I also noted that this indoor grill didn't give off a lot of steam or smoke and therefore had no trouble with our fire alarm, which is nice! I also liked that the hood kept the heat and steam in for the cooking process. Overall a great option for indoor grilling when it doesn't make sense to fire up the grill outside!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grilled two large marinated chicken breasts at 350' degrees. It took about 15 minutes. The chicken breasts were nicely grilled tasted great. I really like this indoor grill. I recommend it highly. The grill was easy clean afterwards too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love using this searing grill! There are times I feel like the outdoor grilling experience is just not for me, so when I first started using this I thought it would be the same. It is not the same at all. I really enjoy using this because I still get the same grilling flavor and marks as I would get, except I am much more comfortable using this and clean up is a breeze. It heats up very fast (you can adjust the temperature to your liking.. keep this in mind!) and is ready to use in just a few minutes. I already use thin pieces of meat and fish to cook with and I feel this works it's best with the thin meats. They always come out cooked evenly and fully through. The hood, tray and plate are all removable so it's very easy to clean and make sure it is thoroughly clean. There are a lot of easy tweaks you can use as well while using this, like using non stick spray or adding water to your drip tray. You are using it indoors, so you always want to be as safe as possible. Another convenient part about this, is that is has light up buttons to show you that the power is on and when the grill is preheated and ready for use. I have had such a great experience using this grill and have made tons of delicious meals already. I highly recommend!

I was excited, but a little skeptical as I have tried other indoor grills in the past and they were just ok. I honestly can say that this grill is amazing! It is really easy to set up and use, and so convenient. This is great for colder months when you don’t want to go outside and grill, or for smaller houses and apartments that don’t have a yard or balcony where you can grill. The only draw back is that although it is easy to clean, getting in between the little grill grooves can be tricky. Other than that this grill is amazing! I’ve made so many meals on this grill already (Burgers, Chicken to name a few) and can’t wait to make so many more!

I have never cared for the taste of beef on one, however, So, I put this one to the test and ... SUCCESS. My hamburger was juicy and delicious, evenly cooked and did not have a strange taste. Also, unlike other grills, I could put the lid down so there were no grease splatters. An added benefit? The lid stays off the food, so I could melt the cheese on my burger. Both my husband and I were very impressed with the flavor. Easy clean up! Also, lighter weight than my current indoor grill option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my grill about 3weeks ago and have enjoyed using it. I’ve cooked both steaks and pork chops and the each turned out great. I marinated the pork chops and when finished the sauce appeared to be burned on the grate so I was worried. Dropped it in hot soapy water for a few minutes and it cleaned right up, no scrubbing at all. The cooking surface is kind of small but for a family of two or three it would be perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love grilling out! As soon as it gets warmer outside, I begin to grill out as we love the taste of grilled burgers and hotdogs. I am super excited about this grill because now I can grill inside! No more waiting until it is warmer outside. I can also grill when it is raining outside. This searing grill taste like it was actually grilled on an outside grill! We have found that bratwurst is better when you grill it so now we can have grilled brat all year round! It is very portable and can be easily stored when not in use. It is easy to clean and easy to use. The hood comes right out so you can just pop it into your dishwasher as well as the drip pan and grilling plate. If you enjoy grilling out I highly recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this grill probably at least a dozen times in the 2 weeks that I have had it. I use it mainly to cook barbeque pork chops for my father. He's a man who loves his food cooked on a gas grill, but he's become a little too old and unsteady on his feet to be going outside to grill. He absolutely loves the chops that this grill cooks up. He says they're excellent, so good that he'd eat the bones if he were able to. The chops cook perfectly all the way through and remain tender and juicy. I used it tonight to make a couple of Beyond Burgers, and they came out amazing, cooked perfectly with lovely grill marks. I love the grill because it's so easy to use, and it makes some good looking food. On the sear setting it takes around 10 minutes to heat up and be ready to use, but I prep the food during that time to the wait is not a big deal at all. The grill grate is completely non-stick - I don't even have to use any oil on it, the food releases super easily. It's easy to clean as well, even burnt caked up barbeque sauce just pops right off with a grill cleaning brush. You can put the metal top, the grill grate, and the drip drawer in the dishwasher. I honestly love it, I think it does a fantastic job, but I do have one area of concern - the frame that the grate sits on is plastic and I have noticed a few areas have started to melt and warp. I wish they would have used a material that would not melt for that area. It still works fine, it's just something to note and keep my eye on. Other than that we are super impressed with this indoor searing grill and absolutely recommend it.

It is very well made, heavy, not too much so, but enough you know it is a quality item. It heats up fast, cooks fast.. I cooked hot dogs on it and they came out looking and tasting like I cooked them on the outdoor grill. nice and charred, juicy and plump. my husband made a grilled cheese sandwich in it and he said it came out crispy bread and nice melted cheese. this is a great grill.. I will be using this a lot!! It has a permanent place on my kitchen counter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so in love with the Hamilton indoor grill. We love grilled food and when it raining or cold we can grill inside with this amazing grill. It doesn't take long to heat up, maybe 2 minutes. I love that there is a green light to let you know that it is ready. It not super big but not super small. I find it perfect for a family of 3-4. I can cook 4 nice size hamburgers on it with no issue. I can cook 2 nice size steaks on it. It also great to grill veggies on it for a nice side dish. This is one of my go-to appliances. We use it a lot. It has a nice drip pan that is under that comes out very easy to empty and clean. Which helps catch grease and leftover pieces of food. It is best to clean after every use. I find it very easy to clean. If you don't clean after ever use it could create some smoke and odor cause it burning pieces of leftover food. It does put off a little smoke when using but not enough to worry about. The grill is nonstick, which makes it easy for nothing to stick. It has many temperature settings. So you can adjust to the temperature you want. One of my favorites is the sear setting. It also has a nice hood to keep from grease popping and it is easy to remove for cleanups. Overall I love this indoor grill. I can still have my great grill food in bad weather.

If you are in a hurry and not wanting to use a charcoal or gass grill this is very convenient. The food keeps its jucie and has nice grill marks. The product is extremely user friendly in that it allows you to easily adjust the temperature based on the food that you are cooking with a light that clearly indicates when the grill has reached your desired temperature. The nonstick grill worked extremely well when cooking steaks and burgers. I really liked that most of the parts are removable and dishwasher friendly which means cleanup is a breeze.
