Hamilton Beach Pour Over Coffee 46700: 8-Cup Electric Coffee Maker, Dishwasher-Safe, White, 1350W, Cone Filter

Got my coffee maker in the mail, everything was as it should be. Did my two cycles of water through the system. First time I used it to brew coffee the handle on the pot broke at the attachment point at the bottom, resulting in a pool of coffee all over the place. This was my very pot of coffee and the pot already broke. Now having to go through Hamilton Beach to get a new pot. This is unacceptable.

The glass brew basket on the machine came broken, but the machine is high quality. Still waiting on customer service to get back to me about sending me a replacement.

I haven’t been able to use it because the plastic smell inside the water reservoir is so bad it makes me gag. We tried running vinegar through it and multiple cycles of filtered water and it still smells horrible and the water coming out smells like burnt plastic. I am not having to return as we cannot make coffee from it. The coffee maker is beautiful and easy to use but the smell is horendous.

It's beautiful, elegant and excellent machine for coffee lovers.

My only complaint would be the carafe being VERY delicate.

It brews some of the best tasting coffee I have ever made at home. This coffee maker is easy to use. It took me a bit of time to figure out the digital panel. Once you learn that panel, it is extremely easy to use. I like that there is a water filter in the tank. It makes a difference in the taste of the coffee it brews and allows me to use water from the tap. I love that I can adjust the brewing to my own personal taste. You can adjust the amount of cups, brew strength, temperature and automatic or manual pour over brewing. I also liked the built-in scale so I do not have to guess how much coffee I really need. This is a very nice looking coffee maker. It has a unique, modern look and looks great on the counter. I also love the clear tank that lights up. I liked watching the coffee brew. I highly recommend this coffee maker to all coffee lovers.

It only needs about half the amount of grounds needed for a regular drip coffee maker. I had a tough time figuring out how to navigate the digital settings and I know my senior parents would have needed help. Set aside a good chunk of time to setup and make the first brew. Once over the learning curve, it gets much easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a person that has owned many Coffee makers over the years, I am absolutely in love with the Hamilton Beach Hamilton Beach 8 Cup Convenient Craft Pour Over coffee maker. The coffee maker has an extremely attractive design that looks stunning in my kitchen and I love that when brewing coffee, the water reservoir lights up, going off when the brewing is finished giving a clear indication when you Coffee is ready. The touch screen controls are super easy to use and lead you through the process, I personally found it extremely intuitive. I love that once you have completed your strength selection the machine, gives you an exact weight required for your desired coffee strength, along with how much water is needed (it even has a scale that will weigh the coffee grounds as you add it). Another great feature is being able to select either hot or very hot coffee, I love my coffee super hot and this maker really provides this. The coffee maker is extremely well made and I personally think that the materials used are far superior to other coffee machines I have had in the past. The filter holder and the carafe are both made from quality glass and the machine it self is made from extremely good quality plastic. I have faith that this maker will last for a very long time. I definitely recommend this coffee maker to coffee lovers everywhere, it really is worth the higher price point, as it makes the best coffee that I have ever tasted from an at home machine.

I’ve had a basic, traditional coffee maker for years now and decided that it was time for an upgrade. I love that this coffee maker allows me to make customized coffee just the way I like it without having to leave home. I can easily control the temperature and strength of my coffee all with just a touch on the easy to use display panel. Brewing coffee is very easy and can either be brewed instantly or programmed to brew later. I also love the option to brew my coffee manually if I like. It has an integrated scale that measures coffee for just the right coffee/water ratio. Cleanup is very easy as well. I clean all of the removable parts by hand, and follow the instruction manual directions for cleaning the inside of the coffee maker. My only complaint is that the water reservoir isn’t removable for cleaning. Other than that, this is a really well made, high quality coffee maker that I recommend to everyone.

Can be a little loud compared to a normal coffeemaker, but is so worth it. I do wish it came in some other colors. A really bright color would be fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was really excited to try the Hamilton Beach 8 Cup Convenient Craft Pour Over coffee maker, but I admit I was a little intimidated by how complicated it sounded. So many features and functions, it sounded like it may take me forever to figure out. Good news is, it wasn't really complicated at all and I figured it all out very quickly! Even better news, is that it truly makes some of the most flavorful, delicious coffee I've ever made from home! I liked the features of this maker and the ability to really customize your brew to your liking! Being able to adjust the brew strength, water temperature and even turn on or off the bloom are all settings you have the ability to control! The most complicated part of operating this machine was getting used to setting it. For reference, once you press a button to start it, it will wait 4 seconds before advancing to the next setting. During this 4 seconds, you can switch the current setting by pressing the select button to change the selection (bloom on to off for example). If you do not press any button during that 4 seconds, it cycles to the next setting and the process repeats until you come to the section where you add your coffee grounds. This time, you press the scale icon if you wish to use the scale feature that weighs the perfect amount of grounds for your cup amount selection. It will give you a number and as you slowly add the coffee grounds, it counts down until it reaches 0. Once you get use to how this machine cycles through the settings, it's very easy to use! I also love that if you're using the same settings everyday, you only have to press a couple buttons and you can basically just let the machine cycle through the rest of them. The glass parts on this are great and the top part that the filter sits in is extremely thick and heavy duty! I wish the coffee pot itself was a little thicker, because I'm nervous I'll accidentally hit it on my counter one day, but I love that the glass cleans so easily and is dishwasher safe. The coffee warmer function also has an auto shut off after so long and can also manually be switched on or off by pressing the "keep warm" button. This is definitely an amazing machine and perfect for serious coffee lovers!

My second favorite process is pour-over for the same reason. But this machine has changed my order of preference. I'm absolutely in LOVE with this coffee maker! It gives me the same great coffee but it's all automated and takes the guesswork out of making pour-over coffee. I can also use it on manual if I prefer, but there's no need because this machine is the bomb at telling me just how much water and coffee to add and then brews it to perfection every single time. There's a bit of a learning curve at first. The instructions are not very clear, and it took some time and observation to figure it out. The trick is to wait until the separate functions stop flashing before you can proceed to the next. That's not intuitive and not mentioned in the instructions (that I could find, at least). But once I figured that out, it's a breeze to use and makes coffee-shop coffee every time. Pour-over is made simple with this automatic coffee maker. A must-have if you love a bold and full-bodied cup of coffee! HIGHLY recommended!

This was my first time brewing with a pour over coffee machine, I wasn't a fan of it but that was the coffee I used, and not the machine. It brewed wonderfully. The coffee was piping hot and bold (like, I set it for). I was trying a new brand of coffee and was not o fan of that. I love having the option to self pour or let the machine do the "pouring ". Would definitely recommend if you are a coffee fanatic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this makes a decent coffee. I did have to adjust the amount of ground I added though. Level three is to strong and two is a bit weak. I really like that it has a bloom feature. Doing a bloom on the ground was something I learned a long time ago. It makes a huge difference. It takes about 6 minutes to be fou cups of coffee. I do wish this had an insulated carafe. The glass looks nice, but I hate coffee that sits on a hot plate. I'd rather it be in something insulated. It can also be a little confusing, definitely have to read the manual. Also I wish the water reservoir was removable. As far as I can figure out it's not removable, which makes cleaning it out rather difficult.
