The quality has gone down dramatically. They used to be thick and held up well now they’re thin and have ripped after a few washes. They have more of a polyester feel now than the thick cotton it used to be. Last time I’m purchasing these what a waste of money.

I initially bought a pack of these maybe a year ago and they were soft and thick.. NOT ANYMORE. These are so thin and cheap and see through. Material is super scratchy and so not worth it. Hanes use to be my go to for socks but seems as though that will need to change.

Pay a little extra and get the Hanes Premium 6-pack Cushioned Socks. This pack of socks are not very soft and get holes quickly. The premium ones are super soft and I’ve never had holes in them.

These are not soft cushioned socks. They almost feel like canvas material and immediately pill. The gray heel section barely reaches my heel even though they are the right size, and there is absolutely no elasticity in them to keep them in place or to keep the “crew” part of the sock up. They immediately slide and twist down. Awful and disappointing purchase.

Like others have mentioned, these were my go to socks and they lasted months without damage. I recently bought new ones and the quality is terrible. Super thin and the elastic on top breaks easily causing the socks to fall down. I’ve compared the new ones to my old ones and the new ones have holes in them after a few wears. Do NOT buy. You’ll waste your money of cheap material.

I have been buying these socks for years and they are now very poor quality. They are not soft, are very thin, and are scratchy. They also don’t stay up. I wear a size 7 and the 5-9 size always used to fit. Now they seem very small. They also got holes in them after a few wears. These have become terrible, very disappointed.

The second I took them out of the bag I was shocked at how crappy these socks were. I was not expecting such poor quality. I mean they are socks... and Hanes is a known underwear/sock brand. How did you get these so wrong!? They are not soft at all. They are rough and prickly. Literally prickly! They are so thin, I can see my skin through them, and the crew part of the sock that should be tight and stay up around your ankle/lower calf is so loose it falls down! Like theres no elastic or its waaay to weak. There's nothing good about these socks! Just garbage!

I love these socks. They are comfortable, mostly cotton with some stretch, and a soft toe seam that never hurts. They wash and dry beautifully. Unfortunately, they don't last very long. They get holes under the heels after 8 to 9 wearings. I am 75 years old, so this is not hard wear - just around the house and trips to the store in sneakers or boots.
