A: Hi, The Hedgehog Teethers outer section is silicone and can be placed in a sterilizer. The inner wooden section is recommended for hand wash.

Cute and fun! My baby does like playing with it, but with the wooden middle part it's a little too heavy at 3-4 months old. Thankfully that piece is removable, and I can sanitize the silicone part along with all my other baby items, so it is easy to clean. There are almost too many spines though, as there's not an especially easy part for his little hands to grab. Even so, he does really like it, he just need some assistance to play with / nom on it.

This was slightly big and heavy for my 6 month old to hold for very long. The wood and silicone are detachable so I have been using them as two different toys and she loves both of them. It is easy to keep clean due to the two pieces and it is able to be modified to make it easier to grasp.

Bulky for an 8 month old. I like it, it seems useful, but my little is teething now and needs to use a teething toy now, but this one is too big and bulky. I do think it's super cute and is of good quality, but not practical for my baby's age.

Super cute teether. My issue is the finish on the wood is already worn off after only washing it twice. The dark spots on the picture show where the finish is gone and the wood is exposed. I dont want to give it to my baby in fear she may teeth on the exposed wood. Disappointed because this is super adorable.
