hauck Alpha+ Grow Along Wooden High Chair Seat

I've been using this chair with my child for two months and I'm at a breaking point. The positioning is terrible and he always ends up with his butt sliding forward so that he is reclined. We've tried with a tray, without, with a cushion, and nothing is working.

This high chair was purchased for us from our registry. Although we didn’t spend our own funds on it, I was still included to share our thoughts in order to help other parents. The high chair seems to be well made, sturdy and is certainly less of an eyesore in our dining room than many of the other options out there. However, the back of the high chair is reclined at a decent angle which ultimately causes a choking hazard. Over the past several months of starting solids with our baby we have had to prop towels behind her in order to get her into an upright position. To be clear, she is normally able to sit up fully on her own - this is a flaw in the design of the chair. I now know that babies should always be at 90/90 when eating and that is impossible in this high chair without modification. I don’t know how this high chair is on the market. I could never recommend that anyone purchase for their baby, though it is possible it would work better for an older child. I have never written a review before but felt this info was too important not to share. We now have the mockingbird high chair and highly recommend.

Addon tray has no manual for customer to know how to install, and installing an addon requires a full disassembly to install. Would not recommend for such an incomplete care of the product

Didn't receive the tray table with the high chair. It clearly states it comes with one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hauck alpha tray is a great addition to our chair. This tray fits perfectly on to the chair. The tray was easy to assemble and to connect to the chair. There is a few great things that i love about this tray. First thing i loved is how easy it is to take the tray off to clean. You just pull up on the side of the tray and it pops off. This allows you to empty it into the trash can and then wash it clean. And then put it back on the tray for the next use. I also love that this tray is higher on the sides then most trays. So it allows the food to stay on the tray then to be on your floor. This tray comes with a cup holder. Another thing i love about it is it has sides on seating part of the tray to keep your child seated in. This gives me pease of mind knowing my son is safely seated during feeding time. This tray seems to be well made. And I love how modern looking it is. If your looking for a great tray? I would definitely recommend you get the hauck alpha tray it's the best one I have tried yet.

It works as a step stool for them when they start getting old enough to help in the kitchen. Then from there can be used as a chair. This is just the tray that you buy the chair separately

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to test and I love the bigger cup hole, it keeps the sippy cups sitting up perfectly. I love the middle piece hanging down to keep the child from slipping out from under it. Definitely recommend this brand of high chair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded to this Alpha High Chair Tray Table replacing a typical high-chair. WOW, we should've used this earlier. Paired with the Alpha Chair itself the combo is unstoppable. It's versatile with a couple different settings so this will grow with you as your child does. Our baby girl climbs right in, gets comfortable, it's secure, and she has room to move giving her some of that "big girl freedom" she's fighting us for. Additionally, you can REMOVE this table off the chair and rinse it right away under your sink. It's an incredible upgrade, made of amazing materials, and easy to store. We highly recommend this and will be purchasing them for baby gifts moving forward.
