I used to use the Silk Hydration Weightless Face Sunscreen as my daily sunscreen for years until they recently changed the formula unfortunately for the worst. I was hoping that this would be a good replacement, but this sunscreen broke me out within 3 days of using it. Such a bummer because I did like the formula at first. Back to the drawing board unfortunately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all Hawaiian Tropic products so I was really excited to try this one. I like that the SPF is 60, the higher the better for my pale skin. I honestly can’t smell it at all on my face so I’m not sure why others are saying the smell is overpowering. It lives up to its “sheer touch” name as you can’t even feel it on and doesn’t leave a sticky residue that a lot of sunscreens have. It also wears pretty well under makeup as it doesn’t affect the matte-ness of my foundation thankfully. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised by this and will definitely be grabbing this more often going forward.

I usually opt out of sunscreen because I enjoy the glow I get from the sun but now I will opt in to wearing it because of how great this product is. It’s super moisturizing and lightweight with such a great scent too! Not to mention how cute the packaging is, to me this matters the least but it’s always nice touch.

There’s a little bit of scent, but nothing so bothering. The pump package it’s very helpful to let you control how much product you want to use.

Works well under makeup and doesn’t pill. I trust this brand since I’ve used other products from them before, like baby sunscreen. The only reason I removed a star is for the scent, which is so strong and seems extra cloying because it’s applied in the face

It’s sub 3oz so it’s perfect for bringing on a trip and there’s a decent quantity in the tube. SPF 60, and it offered great sun protection. Would absolutely buy again.
