Q: What are the dimensions and how high off the ground is it? Also does it move easily as I have a shoulder problem?

A: It does roll freely without the brake set. The max height is 16.3 inches from the ground.

Q: The wheels came with two nuts on each threaded wheel stem, one tight to the wheel base and the other part way on the stem. Do both nuts stay on the stem for assembly?

A: Attach Wheels to Umbrella Base by inserting the threaded stem of the Wheels and turning clockwise until secure. Press on the brake to make the base in a fixed position.

Q: Picture shows brake pedal extend past the edge of the base to be stepped on to set the brake. On mine the pedal is even with the edge of the base making it hard to step on. Should the wheel brake pedal extend past the edge of the base for easy access?

The item was cracked in the box. Because it is from a different manufacturer, they wanted me to return the damaged item… which weighs over 100 lbs and then purchase new. Ended up keeping and repairing the original since lifting the item and bringing it to the store to return was not going to happen. Had the item a year now and all of the metal is rusted. Not pleased for the price I payed.

It is tricky to attach the wheels if you aren't comfortable maneuvering 80 lbs of concrete. However, once the wheels are attached, it's awesome. Securely holds our 10 ft umbrella. I'd put off investing in an umbrella stand because they're so expensive, but if you can swing it-- it is awesome to have. Plus, although it is more expensive than the water or sand ones, it seems much more likely to last for a long, long time. So hopefully it is a one and done purchase :)

It's pretty nice & works well. The wheels are a little hard to roll on a deck but works with the handles. In the wind, the holder for the umbrella post & screw seem to loosen & need to be retightened. I would like the post holder to be a little stronger. It also makes the umbrella taller since the stand is about 6"high.

Love that it has wheels, just wish it was heavier to be more stable. Also after a few weeks the plastic liner came out and now constantly needs to be re-inserted into the stand. Still a worthwhile product.

The stand is heavy and solid; like the wheels however it is difficult to unlock the locking wheels. Defeats the purpose of moving around easily. We will probably keep the 2 stands we ordered but wont be using the lock feature.

This item does not work well with a cantilever umbrella. The slight wind will bring it over. It works well with a standard umbrella in a modest breeze.
