I bought this today instead of getting fast food. Took 4 bites and trashed it. Just not good. Soggy rice, sauce is too much and too sweet, chicken was dry and inedible. The only thing that was good were the carrots and the edamame.

I purchased three healthy choice dinners for our late meals at night. Neither my husband nor I eat much. I cooked this product as directed. Put half on his plate with a small salad, and half on my plate with a small salad. I took my first bite and both the chicken and lima beans were hard. I ate all of mine, with some of the hard chicken, even though it was awful. After the second bite, my husband put his in the trash and got a bowl of Ice Cream. I thought this was bad because the seal on the top was not good. However, last night I cooked the Oriental chicken product (don't remember the name) which was sealed tight. Again, the chunks of chicken were hard. I will not be purchasing these product again. At one time, I thought Healthy Choice was the best. Sad

Does not taste like what you'd expect chicken fried rice to taste like. Has an excessive amount of this odd sweet sauce instead of a little soy which not only make it taste drastically differently from normal CFR, but makes everything soggy. Was like eating overly chunky oatmeal with chicken. Not very tasteful. If you absolutely need to eat then go ahead. If not I'd suggest going with a different option.

The flavor was decent but many pieces of chicken were rock hard so I had to throw them out. Also, there was only about a cup of food so to make a full meal, I would have needed to add something to it. I like Healthy Choice meals usually but this one shouldn't have made the cut.

Way too much plastic

We have a plastics problem, people. Recycling doesn’t cut it. Single use plastics like this are irresponsible. The food itself was OK, but would’ve been less bland if it was actually cooked in the sauce instead of hovering above it in a plastic steamer tray. Silly.

Tasted nothing like the fried rice I have had ever, no flavor whatsoever, Edamame inedible, hard to chew, I cooked it exactly like the other dinners and not good. I love most of the dinners from this company but they should scrap this one or improve the recipe.

This product was very disappointing. I had difficulty in choking it down. It was unexpectedly sweet and had little flavor otherwise. It actually makes me avoid Healthy Choice brand completely.

Not what I expected at all, the sauce adds no flavor and it kinda of tastes watered down? There’s just no flavor period and it’s a strange consistency. Easy to prepare but at what cost 🥲

I was not expecting the sauce. It is not a sauce that I would associate with any chicken fried rice I've ever had. It is more of a sweet, sticky sauce and I would eat it again if it was the only thing left in my freezer, but I won't buy anymore. Too bad. It should have had something more like a soy sauce (even low sodium) or even no sauce would have been better than this. This may have been "ok" if I wasn't expecting something else from it's name.

For under 300 calories you get a delicious, healthy, and filling meal. Spent about 5 minutes in the microwave and it was ready to eat! Great variety of vegetables and delicious chicken.

Seriously, there were 50 edamame beans in the one I purchased. Edamame is not a favorite of mine. After I removed all of them, there was practically nothing left in the bowl. This is the first time I have bothered to leave a review on a frozen meal. It was just so unbelievable, that the edamame was the main ingredient. I still can't believe I actually counted them. What an absolute waste of time and money.

Taste is nothing like fried rice. I bought it twice. I have a 900 w microwave. The sauce in the bottom burned when cooked 5 minutes - midrange of the cooking time - but the rice and vegetables were not sufficiently hot. I won't buy again.

If you need something quick this is fine, the sauce goo is pretty sweet but for a frozen meal I'd buy this again. If you want an upgraded version of this buy a cheap rice cooker, cook some rice use frozen veggies and cook some chicken breast in terakyi sauce in the oven and portion, it tastes 10× better and is much cheaper and faster to heat up.

I was disappointed to learn that your "free from artificial ingredients" Simply Steamers are not all natural. This product contains bioengineered (BE) ingredients, also known as GMOs or Genetically Modified Organisms, and has been labeled in accordance with the National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard. Bioengineered ingredients have changes introduced into their DNA through genetic engineering. How can you also claim on the front of the box that it contain "nothing artificial"?
