Unlike standard disposable plates, the raised edges do a fantastic job of keeping food securely on the plate, which is especially helpful with saucier dishes like baked beans or sides like potato salad—perfect for casual gatherings like backyard barbecues. Another major advantage is that the plates are BPI Certified Compostable. It’s reassuring to know that they’re a more sustainable option, especially when compared to traditional disposable dinnerware, which can often feel wasteful or environmentally unfriendly. The 8.6-inch size is very versatile and practical. In fact, I tested it with half of an oversized breakfast burrito, and it only took up a small portion of the plate—leaving plenty of room for additional items. The price appears to align with similar plates with similar functionality. The only drawback I noticed was the durability. While they performed well overall, the plates felt slightly flimsy, and I wouldn’t feel confident holding one with one hand when it’s loaded with food. Despite that, I would still recommend these plates for casual events, picnics, or any setting where convenience and eco-friendliness are priorities. I’d gladly use them again in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These plates are extra deep which is a nice feature. Most paper plates don’t have much of an edge at all. But, they’re just as flimsy as a regular paper plate. Holds up well with smaller amounts of food and definitely better with liquids though!

I have to double it up so it works. Looks decent and perfect size. Try putting chips not a good meal food. Thanks
