A: thanks for your question. parents should always supervise their children’s brushing. our hello® kids fluoride free toothpaste in natural watermelon and our toddler training toothpaste in organic apple are safe for children of all ages if accidentally swallowed while brushing. of course, the product is safest when used as directed and intended. hello® kids fluoride toothpaste like unicorn sparkle strawberry and dragon dazzle are most appropriate for children over the age of two and when used as directed and intended. however, we recommend consulting with your dentist to determine if a fluoride toothpaste is the right choice for your little one.

I got this toothpaste for my 6 year old daughter and she loves it! Everyday she rushes to the bathroom to brush her teeth. She loves unicorns and rainbows, so that makes her excited, too. It helps clean her teeth very well, and her dentist says that her teeth look outstanding. She loves the bubblegum flavor too! This is the only toothpaste she likes. In the packaging there was a little unicorn you can color and share it with Hello. I definitely recommend this to moms that have kids who are picky with toothpaste. This is so cute and I will definitely be buying more!!!

The actual product is great, the packaging is awful. Why can’t anyone make a sensible toothpaste dispenser that’s easy for kids and not a headache for the adults that help them?!? My kids always squeeze out about 10x the actual amount that they need and then when it gets to the bottom of the tube for the last week of its use and adult needs to help to get it out. Please send help!

The pros of this toothpaste did not outweigh the cons. I like the colorful packaging, the sparkle in the toothpaste, and my kids liked the flavor. HOWEVER, this is the stickiest, gooiest toothpaste I’ve bought for them. And even when it dries, it’s still soft and sticky. The cap gets sticky and then it’s hard to open and close without frequent cleaning. It would probably be ok for older kids or adults who can keep things really tidy, but with my 2-year-old and 6-year-old, everything in their bathroom quickly became sticky. The sink, the doorknob, just everything. I also didn’t like that it’s clear because my kids had a hard time seeing how much was coming out. I’m a pretty frugal person and I hate waste, but even I tossed this after just a few weeks and bought something else.

I'm an adult who uses this toothpaste. It's hard to find cruelty-free toothpaste with fluoride but without pore-clogging ingredients. This is tasty and cute. However, it leaves a giant mess under the cap around the dispenser. This is my 5th tube and I have yet to find a way to avoid it. It's sticky and annoying.
