Q: The current product lists CETYLPYRIDINIUM CHLORIDE (a synthetic chemical) not aloe vera gel as the active ingredient. Can you confirm and explain why the change?

Q: I have been wanting to try this mouthwash but I noticed on the bottle of a friend the main ingredient is cetylpyridinium chloride. Is this safe? I thought that ingredient was toxic.

This mouthwash is interesting. I don’t have anything against the flavor when you’re actually swishing it around, but the aftertaste is foul. It makes me gag every time. Other than that no complaints but I will probably switch back to my tried and true after this is gone.

I love the hello mouthwash as it’s not overpowering and isn’t totally killing my oral mirobiome like alcohol mouthwashes. It’s got a pleasant and light minty flavor and leaves my teeth feeling nice and clean in between brushing.

The best mouthwash! I have been using it off and on for the past couple years now. The tastes is more of a sweet mint, sort of like the pink therabreath, at least to me. Definitely takes some getting used to if you typically use brand such as crest, Colgate, etc. But I love it and I always notice a difference in my overall oral health when I’m not using it. It is on the cheaper side of mouthwash so doesn’t hurt to give it a try!

I love this mouthwash, I’ve been buying it for a couple years now. Recently, Target announced they’re lowering prices, however this has gone up recently from 4.99 along with many other items we buy. I guess they’re lowering some prices and raising others to make up for it, and it happens to be natural, vegan themed items that are more expensive now.

I get thrush sometimes from dry mouth and inhaler use, but my mouth is sensitive to mouthwash including biotene. The taste of this is a little strange but is tolerable enough and doesn't irritate my tongue. Unfortunately pricey

I happened to buy because I was in a hurry and needed to pick something fast. Best decision of my life so far, doesn’t burn my mouth and has a nice feeling after. I also brush my teeth with it after brushing my teeth with toothpaste and I feel like it actually whitens my teeth. Will definitely keep using it!
