This is an excellent knife set for the home cook that contains the essential knives for the home. Self sharpening block is an added bonus for someone that struggles with keeping knives sharp.

So sharp, I was surprised at how easily they cut through soft veggies like tomatoes. I like the self sharpening block, so I can keep up their cutting ability. One of the rubber feet on the wood block needs tightening, but not a problem to do myself.
