HENCKELS Graphite Hollow Edge Santoku Knife

I got these for my Son in law that cooks at a country club. He needed affordable quality knives that are easy to care for. He really likes this Santoku and uses it daily to prep vegetables. He says it works great, feels nice and well balanced and is light enough to use for long periods of time.

Great knife for the price! Sharp and easy to handle while slicing.

This knife is very comfortable to hold and is extremely sharp. I believe it is well worth the money to have in your kitchen. I have not had it for long so I do not know how long it will keep its edge.

Perfect size and sharpness for smaller fruits and vegetables. The "dimples" keep the food from sticking to the blade. It's a forged knife, so it's definitely going to hold its edge really well, plus it gives it great weight and balance. Very sleek and modern!

I love this knife. The design is beautiful. The solid stainless steel design is very sleek and modern. The handle is very comfortable to hold and lighter than expected. The blade is very sharp and easy to maintain. The size is perfect for my vegetable and herb prep. The Japanese blade design is prefect for chopping and slicing with ease. The slim blade profile and acute angle allows for precise cutting with very little waste.

Wanted a smaller sized knife that I can use for my everyday knife. Decided to try this 5" Santoku. Love the size, and also find it to be sharper than my traditional chef knife. The hollow edges prevent food from sticking to edge when cutting. The knife has a good weight to it, but is light enough to prevent hand fatigue. Liked it so much I purchased pne for my daughter in law, and she loves it too.

I really like my santoku and use it as much as I use my chef knife in the kitchen. If you have not used a santoku, you can use it on meat, poultry and vegetables, and the hollowed out edge, called grantons, creates an air pocket keeping the food from sticking to the blade. I like the wider blade on the santoku and use it to scoop up what i have just chopped to transfer to the pan for cooking or sauteing. The handle is ergonomic and very comfortable, which means fatigue-free slicing, dicing and chopping.

Because it is completely stainless steel it is easy to clean and dry. The Santoku style blade is really nice for chopping vegetables.

I like this 5" Santoku Knife for chopping smaller batches of vegetables when I cook for a few guests. They never stick to the knife and cut & chop easily. Really comfortable & lightweight handle that fits comfortably in the palm of my hand.

This is a great knife for chopping fruits and vegetables. The Asian blade style is thin, sharp and durable. Excellent weight and size for ease in chopping. I use this for tear free onion slicing! It's perfect for smashing and mincing garlic and ginger. The contour handle is comfortable to hold.

What a nice knife. The stainless steel creates a two-tone effect between the blade and the handle, which is a great look. The forged blade is sharp with dimples to help prevent food from sticking. The handle is lightweight and non-slippery.

Pick this smaller Graphite santoku for chopping and mincing smaller ingredients. The handle is very comfortable and the durable blade stays sharp for a really long time.

Exactly what I wanted! Seamless, all-stainless construction. Very sturdy and well made. It cuts like a dream. Yay!
