I’ve always wanted a set of Henckels and this set did not disappoint. They’re super sharp and look nice on my counter. I didn’t realize how bad my old set was until I got these. I highly recommend!!!

Got this set for a Christmas gift, so far it’s been great! One drawback was that the tip of one of the steak knives was curled over and got stuck in the cover when removing it from the packaging. Fortunately I was able to get it back to mostly normal with a good amount of honing.

These are really great knives we have had our first set for the last 15 years and they were very durable and have stayed sharp. We bought these just for an updated set. Will still use our older set as well.

These knives are Amazing!!! You say grazie mille to us well I say grazie mille to you for crafting these wonderful knives. They are super sharp , and stY that way, and they are really comfortable to hold for long periods of time. Fantastic knives, which is what I've come to expect from Henckels. Razor sharp, makes very smooth cuts, and looks great on my countertop. I don't know the exact difference in the "professional" version, but this 18-piece set should be plenty for the average cook--a piece for every occasion!

Very nice, complete set, came with an instruction sheet identifying the wide and varied assortment of knives. Some are obvious - bread knife, paring knife - while others - utility knife, prep knife, hollow edge santoku - are encouraging me to try knives I would not have reached for. Included is a matching 8 pc steak knife set which is very useful for dinners. Overall, the knives are attractive and sturdy with nice grip. I noted that the new 8-inch stainless steel chef's knife has a sharper edge than the carbon steel knife I've been using without the trouble of constant sharpening.

I was married 30 years ago and was given a knife set that held up through all the years. My son decided to gift us with the 18-pc knife set for Christmas. The steak knife handles (2 of them) have completely broken off wear the blade meets the metal. The knives have only been hand washed and continue to fall apart with use. The knives are LESS THAN A YEAR OLD. I wish I could post pictures as well. In addition, I have noticed the kitchen scissors do not cut as well as they should. Big dissapointment all the way around.

My daughter had given me ths knife set for Christmas and this knife set doesn’t clean up well at all. There is always smears and spots showing after cleaning them, I don’t like them! They are not stainless steel. I didn’t want to disappoint my daughter about complaining about this set. But I wanted to let the company and the customers to know how awful this set is. I’ve been disappointed, don’t waste your money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came sharp right out of the box, they had some sort of protentant coating or lubricant on the blades and handles so we gave them a quick hand wash. Noticed some blemishes on the handles but otherwise a great knife set. The block itself came undamaged and looked great.
