Q: Can the pull hardware be swapped out?

A: Hello, I was able to successfuly replace the hardware with golden colored knobs with a 25mm screw bolt. Just be sure to only use single screw hardware for each drawer.
submitted byAvid Purchaser - 1 year agoA: The holes for the pull hardware are predrilled and centered on the drawer front for a single 5/32"X22 mm screw bolt. The Her Majesty 2 Drawer Nightstand does not come with more than one style of handle, but if you wanted to swap it out for something else, that would be at your discretion. Just keep in mind the spacing of the predrilled hole, as that may limit the style of knob you could choose.

I ordered 2 nightstands and one came yesterday. Today, instead of receiving the second nightstand, I received a very heavy bookcase. I tried chatting with target.com; "fixing" the issue; and calling them, only to be transferred, delayed, and hung up on. Why isn't this vendor, the warehouse, or Target, owning up to their error, and sending me the item I bought and paid for??

Aside from it taking 3 hours for my dad and I to put together, it's only 2 months in and it's completely falling apart! The drawers don't slide properly and have never been able to completely close. Arrived damaged

Appearance is good, a nice off white easy to pair with other colors. However the poor review for now is due to the smell, it is extremely strong and smells like formaldehyde. If it doesn’t ago away Ina day or two will be returning. Quite a shame.

Item has a very strong odor. I put it out for multiple days before moving into my bedroom and can’t seem to rid on the pungent smell. Contacted customer service and gave an option to return but I paid the have them set up and will not reimburse if I return.

The size of this nightstand is terrific if you’re looking for a thin, yet wide table. The purple color leans gray. The assembly was straightforward. The design is very pretty. I did return this item due to the muddy color and missing parts, but mostly due to the awful smell. It was one of those smells that won’t go away even if you leave it outside in the sun or give it time. Toxic!

Just as others have mentioned, there is absolutely a smell to this nightstand. I wiped it down after putting it together, but it still needed several days to air out. I kind of wish i had really thoroughly wiped down all pieces before putting it together. At first it seemed subtle but after a night with it next to me, I couldn't stand it anymore. Took over a week of airing out for me to actually use it next to the bed. Putting it together was a bit rough, my husband was not happy with how difficult it was, but he got through it! It looks really great and the size is exactly what I was looking for. Overall I am very happy with this nightstand.

This nightstand is super nice! I ordered it in the light Green color and it works well with more elegant interior design. Instructions were easy to follow when putting together. I did replace the drawer knobs with different ones that didn't rattle with movement. The knobs I replaced were gold and had a 25mm screw, which were identical in measurement with the ones that came with the cabinet and fit well with the pre-drilled holes.

I paid $96 for this while it was on sale. I don’t think I would want to pay more than that. Came with a few very light scratches/imperfections. The hardware came taped to the box but about 15 screws were loose in box which I didn’t realize until halfway through building process when I was missing them and went back to find them. Overall it looks nice and it took me about 2.5 hours to assemble.

Definitely worth the price I paid! Mine didn’t have the smell others mentioned. There was a scratch here and there but nothing a furniture repair marker couldn’t fix. I filled in the pre-existing knob holes and made my own. They look amazing!

I got these because they were a good price for the size. They did smell weird like the other reviews said but that didn’t bother me I just wiped them down. I thought the hardware looked like piercings so I replaced it with other knobs.

Color inaccuracy

I love the design and the style of the nightstand. The only reason I'm giving this nightstand a 3 star rating is because Im having an issue with the color. I purchased a dresser that matched the 2 nighstands I got but the color is not the same. The Soft White nightstands come in a very light almond, beige/gray color with a slight green undertone. The Soft White dresser is a stark white color. I have reorder the dresser multiple times thinking maybe the first one had a color defect, but they all came in the same plain white color. I actually really like the color of the nightstands and I wish I could find the dresser in the same color. The color name should not be the same for the nightstand and dresser because they are not the same color.

They look great, but they give off this awful odor. We have had to keep our windows open as much as possible. And that is not a small sacrifice in winter in the Midwest. I hope the smell goes away soon or we will have to return them.

The following is an article from our Help Desk for your reference: Not all furniture has a smell. In fact, by the time an item reaches your doorstep, it is several months removed from the assembly line and most odors have already had the chance to dissipate. There are several factors that can contribute to the varying levels of off gassing found in our products: 1) Length of time that a panel sits in the warehouse prior to being cut. 2) Length of time it takes a panel to go through the manufacturing process before being packaged. 3) The number of edges that are covered with laminate or edge banding, as this can help seal in any odors. While it may be unpleasant, it is not harmful. The following steps can help to get your house smelling like "home" again. By nature, formaldehyde breaks down when exposed to air, moisture and sunlight, and regardless of method, smell should dissipate within a few days. 1) Ventilate: Turn on your HVAC system or open some windows. Placing the item in front of or beneath a fan can also be effective. If you have one, plug in an air purifier. 2) Temperature: Heat and humidity can intensify the odor, but also quicken the process, so please take that into consideration when deciding how to ventilate. A cool, dry, slow and steady method might be more appropriate if you are affected by scents. 3) Allow the panels to air out for a few days: If space doesn't allow for this, you might also consider opening doors or drawers. 4) Place a bowl of baking soda nearby: As an alkaline substance, baking soda is a tried-and-true method for absorbing odors.
