When I first got the sonic goo jit Zu, it looked very attractive. When we opened, it looked like it had very good quality. But two days later, the paint and the design started to fade and peel off! After a few weeks, the toy even got holes in it. My son was disappointed about this and wished he hadn’t gotten it. Even the cost was so much for this little thing.

I was waiting to give my son this toy for his birthday so I appreciate the patience for this review. He loves it so much! It gives him the sensory play he seeks and he really loves to bring it when we travel. It glows in the dark which is super fun too! Only downside is there isn’t much else to do besides stretch and squish it. He still loves this toy but it isn’t one he grabs for as much as others I think that’s only because it doesn’t do a whole bunch. I personally love the feel of it and find myself using it as a stress ball.

However, it is good for the car or in a bag for some thing like an appointment or the restaurant. I would not recommend for a small child under two. I plan on putting this in a stocking at Christmas time.

Very stretchy but makes me feel like it will break if I continue to stretch so it’s stops us from stretching too much. I’m not sure if it’s something we would buy in the future. It doesn’t seem to have much versatility.
